YANKEES/RED SOX Under 8 +100 - This contest has all the potential to be a good old fashion pitcher?s duel. Schilling has pitched well in his first 2 starts in a Boston uniform, posting a 3.21 ERA with a fantastic 0.93 ratio, recording 17 strikeouts in 14 innings along the way. You may also recall that he pitched brilliantly against the Yankees in the World Series while a member of Arizona, allowing 4 runs and only 12 hits in 21.1 innings with an impressive 26 strikeouts. Mussina has not looked sharp in his first two outings this year, but he is a much better pitcher than he has shown and this fiercest rivalry in possibly all of sports usually brings out the best in those involved. He did pitch well in his last start at Fenway Park in the 2003 ALCS, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits in 6.2 innings with 10 strikeouts. These clubs went Under last night in a 6-2 Boston victory, and I would not be surprised to see these teams combine for just 6 runs or so today.
