Rivera - who'd experienced tightness earlier this week - insists he's not worried, and the Yanks shouldn't be either. But Joe Torre said he'd hold Rivera out of today's rubber game of this three-game series, and send the closer for tests either today or tomorrow.
"It's in the right spot, as it's not in any of the joints. It's just a muscle," Torre said. "There is a concern, but at first look it appears to be muscular, so hopefully that's all it is."
"I'll be all right; they just have to decide what they're going to do. But I'll be ready," Rivera said. "I'll come here [today] and we'll see from here. I'll have to find out what happens. I can't tell you right now, until I throw."
