I just saw that at weather.com AGC. Unreal! I've been watching Ike due to my Dad having a home in Boynton Beach but his current residence is the Miami VA hospital. He needs those storm shutters put on maybe. Thought I may have to go down there and do that. Not looking like it now.

All those folks still without power and now maybe Ike.

Wifes aunt just got power yesterday in Baton Rouge. They were without power for almost 5 days and there still people without power.

my mom lives by the state capitol in spanish town, she also just got electricty back....

had the rest of the evacuee's leave my house TODAY to get back to New Orleansl...

now IKE....

Hard to believe the number of hurricanes to hit the gulf coast lately. My wife and children just got home today from the Gustav evacuation, and now it looks like they are going to have to leave again midweek!

Ike is HUGE a lot of wind and rain here in the Keys now...storm surge might be an issue here...good luck in the gulf guys

Boat yard here gets $25.00/foot during hurricane season, stacked on blocks on land...place is packed :scared has to be out 3 days after the storm passes or it's $15.00/ft per day...

Most of the Charter boats tie up in the mangroves, bayside. Only one Charter Boat was docked at Holiday Isle
