I'm more impressed w/the execution and play calling of what appear to be 5th graders.

Things change dramatically from chldhood to Sr. yr. HS. I played on a sickly competitive Pop Warner team back in the day and our stud RB back then basically scored 70% of our TD's- he was dominant- he never even played HS ball- he didn't even make the team in 9th grade because he was a late bloomer and was more of a track guy + he didn't like contact so when he didn't grow- he was done. Moral to the story, the guy that can grow a mustache 1st is usually pretty good until.... By the way, my buddy that was the shit when we were kids is now 6'4 and 225 lb. Strange how it works

It was a team of 12yo olds based on the coach's comments after the video (the team won the national title for Pop Warner). The kid has incredible field vision and, at least based on height, doesn't appear to simply be an "early bloomer."

But like Dr. Fade said, it was the excecution and blocking that was most impressive. The whole squad knows how to block.

BJ, @ 5th grade things are even for the most part- you will have the random dude w/hairy pits here and there. My buddy wasn't one of them- he was a late bloomer - dominated until about 7th grade. By the time we got to 9th grade he couldn't even make the team because he was a late bloomer.
In KC, they now have weight classes for the Pop Warner teams which I think is garbage. We had a weight limit to carry the ball "the fat ass sticker" back iin the 80's. Now you got kids that are playing GD & T who will play skill positions later. I prefer the weight limit rather than separating the lights/heavies and have A/B teams, although I can see some benefit from the "new" formula.

I LOVE FOOTBALL!
