This was from someone i know who is pretty reliable so do what you want with it.

BE WARNED

I checked with Norton Antivirus and they are gearing up for this virus

So I believe this is real. I checked snopes.com and this is for real.

Get this sent around to your contacts ASAP...we don't need this spreading around.

READ AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS:

You should be alert during the next days: Do not open any message with an attached filed called "Invitation" regardless ofWho sent it. It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which "burns"
The whole hard disc C of your computer.. This virus will be received

From someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list, that

Is why you should send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better

To receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called "invitation", though sent by a friend, do

Not open it and shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst

Virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive

Virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet

For this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

SEND THIS E-MAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. COPY THIS E-MAIL AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS AND REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US.

TS: Thank you for calling Norton Anti-virus Technical Support, my name is ******, how may I assist you today?

yyz: Hi, I just saw an alert posted on a message board about a "torch" virus that will destroy my computer if I open an email marked, Invitation". Are you aware of this?

TS: *sigh*..........Yes, yes, we are. This wasn't a post started by a guy calling himself, Sponge", was it?

yyz: Holy shit!!! Yeah! Yeah, it was!!!

TS: He's sent a lot of action our way today. Okay......Relax, man. It's a hoax, alright? Not even a new hoax. It's been around for over a year.

yyz: Are you sure? He says he got it from a reliable source, and this cat don't fukc around! In fact, his exact words were, "do what you want with it", so that's why I called.

TS: Well, there is one extra security measure you can take........You know. Just to "be sure".

yzz: Well, shit, man! Lay it on me!

TS: Okay. Go to the original post that you saw this Sponge guy make, and print his post.

yyz: Yeah? Yeah?!!!

TS: Take that printed page telling everyone about this dangerous virus, and place it on the edge of your bathroom sink.

yyz: What???

TS: JUST DO IT!!!!!!

yzz: Okay, okay!!!...........Alright, I did all that.

TS: Perfect! You're all set.

yyz: I gotta ask, though........How will that protect my computer from the virus?

TS: Oh, it won't. There IS no virus, remember? But now, next time you take a shit, you have something to wipe your ass with........Have a great day, and thanks for calling Norton Anti-virus Technical Support.

If it was real, somebody might get saved. I never thought about upsetting some miserable fuk and yes that is my fault for not thinking of that. I can't think of everything:shrug:

This can't be stresed enough:

ANYTHING YOU RECEIVE AS A FORWARDED MESSAGE VIA EMAIL IS WORTHLESS - ALWAYS!

You don't have to throw away these messages away, but please don't ever ever ever post them.

Listen, Gomer Pyle. It took me all of 30 seconds to do a search and see if this was a hoax. Don't you think the LEAST you could have done was the same?

Calling you a bonehead for posting this doesn't make me "miserable". Maybe plenty of other shit does, but not this.

Just say, "Sorry. I fuked up", and move on to your next masterpiece.
