With all this "anti-gambling" stuff done by the NCAA, wouldn't they reprimand Musburger for referring to favorites and underdogs and point spreads and Las Vegas?

Also, Vegas must love guys like Musburger..........he thinks the Las Vegas line is a good indicator of who is going to win. In his eyes, if a dog wins, it is an "upset."
According to him, for example, Miami will winn by 3 points tonight...because that it what the Vegas experts "predict."

Brent Musberger is a total jackass. I've never heard a commentator be rude to his own partners in the booth. The guy cuts them off whenever teh hell he feels like it. I don't know who I hate hearing more Musberger or Theisman's Sunday Night NFL Crew. :firing:

that is a tough call. I can't stand when the Vikes play on SNF or any game they announce.

Muss is the king of making every play a game-breaker and overloads the drama way to much, but I'd agree ESPN is worse.

I met him in Vegas at the Bellagio Sportsbook in March of 2001 - he was looking over info on the ponies and I talked to him for about 20 minutes. Nice guy.

im not a huge brent fan either, but when hes announcing a big game, he will star the telecast by saying "your loooking live!and then say the stadiums name that for some reason just gets me pumped up. sounds silly i know but it just does.
