Sinclair Broadcast Group is buying up local news outlets and adding that bias you guys love to talk about.

Even more problematic is that aside from Sinclair owning these stations (information most are unfamiliar with), all of the networks including ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox are all under the same umbrella.

So, for those who insist on "liberal media" and "liberal bias in the news" - once again, there is no such thing. Herman & Chomsky explained this with Manufacturing Consent and their development of the 5 filters of the media years ago!

Peace! :)

Right behind you
Any broadcaster which is supported by paid advertising dispenses propaganda at the whim of the advertisers.

So, where do you turn for truthful news reporting?

PBS is probably the best, although they are limited by their budget. They accept no advertising, and the list of donors who support PBS is the first thing you seen when PBS news comes on the air for the evening news.

Regardless what the lying cocksucker in the White House says, the NYT and Washing Post can be relied on as almost unbiased, as can The Atlantic magazine.

But any network which is supported by advertisers is suspect. Fox is, of course, the worst. Just watch Sean Hannity one time and count the number of lies and "fake news" he spreads. He's a human manure spreader.

Shit in his head, diarrhea out of his mouth.

Sean Hannity is a political entertainment show. Dumb people can't tell the difference which is why a lot of Fox News viewers are so confused. It's also why they think the rest of the media is so biased. They turn on a channel with a pundit that says something they disagree with and, since they don't understand the difference, they think it is that channel's reporting of the news. It's just easier to go to the echo chamber and let people tell you what you want to hear.
