Can you explain what your seeing in the Falcons game ?
They lost Finnerman first downs much harder now, no running game, Dunn always plays bad against his former team , offensive line in a shambles, players back in Secondary this week but Buchanen plays a corner.
just wondering maybe you know something that I dont.

tampa finally plays a team they can put up some serious points against, don't see atl scoring much in this one..... no vick, no chance
everyone is the reason i pick the falcons this week. everyone i know is picking the bucs this week. if it was that easy, we would all be winners. if i picked houston in week one against miami would you have asked me these same questions of why im doing it? any team can beat any team any sunday in the NFL. when more than 80% jump on a pick like the bucs this week, i happily go the other way and take my chances.
to answer your questions, no, there is nothing specific about the falcons that might make them have a better chance. although, they desperetely need a win, its at home, and tampa hasnt impressed me at all yet.

The falcons struggle with the bucs defense with vick...i dont see them winning it without vick. I believe this spread is designed into scaring people away from the bucs just like you jalen.

Also i cant see KC blowen out my texans w/o Priest. He is an enormos part of both the passing and running game. Im taken Houston wth the points!

I learned this lesson on my Army pick in college last week. Sometimes the obvious is just that. Las Vegas trys to adjust the line to make us think weird thoughts.
Tampa is the leading passing team in the NFL as we speak.
I agree run game is not there but they could get to feeling very well against this Falcons defense.

Honestly, I don't understand why people keep saying " if everyone is on X team, I am going with Y team" If that is your opinion, then fine, but if your making your descision based on the opposite of what everyone else thinks, I personally think its wrong. :shrug:
Falcons do not have a super team, defensively and offensively they are struggling. Tampa is going to sack the crap out of that quarterback. After Tampa taking a heart breaker last week, i think there are going to be on fire and will take it on everyone. History does show that Atlanta has had some sucess running against Tampa but Sunday, TB will be ready. Gruden is IMO the best motiviontal/offensive coach. He knows how to get his players ticking and how to get the most out of them. I think it will be a low scoring game but if Tampa gets ahead early, look for a blowout. I know Jurevious is out but they will find other ways to score. If Vick was in, then I could see something but not in this situation.
Looking for Bucs to get some int/fumble turnovers in their favour. Thanks for showing me the way though, I think I will look at the TB game a little bit more.

well thanks everyone for your input, i might officially declare myself as the only person on this forum taking the falcons this weekend. like i said all these stats you guys pull out means nothing on sunday afternoon in atlanta.

can i ask where you pulled that passing stat from? you are very wrong about that just to let you know. i dont know where they rank but its not first. and their running is horrible, if they're def doesnt show up this week, atlanta has a chance.

TB is #1 in passing yds/game = 287.5. Two yards/game ahead of #2 Pitt.
TB is also #1 in passing attempts/game = 48.5, 2.5 ahead of #2 Arizona.
However, they only rank #11 in completion percentage = 62.9%
Of course Tampa has played two teams (Philly & Carolina) with pretty good run D. Tampa doesn't have much of a run O...they've got to pass to be successful.

u have a pont , & belive me, i respect it; if u took the Texans wk1 u just did so great, i almost took Mia (but -14??), just 'cause some real thing that the past year showed saved me from that one, and is: nfl right now NFL is so a competitive league, not any more like in the late 80's and 90's, were just a few teams (SF, Denv, Dall, Buf, NYG etc) was espected to do the job, now, we have not only more teams (Tex, Jax, Cle or Balt, etc), but a competitive teams, nfl in general; so i didn't take Txs, but was glad for not to take that game, i think -14 is 2 much for a game right now.
never like to put stats & things like that, but one was -14 and totally different -4.5, may be -6.5 it's all right for me on TB this time. Any way, just to mentions some of the notes that i'm takin' in my book, "told that don't like tu put stats", but just an interesting thing here (just to mention)
