yyz,

I'm looking at coming up to Green Bay for the game and have a couple questions about tickets. Do many people sell tikcets outside of Lambeau on game day and is the Green Bay Gazette a good source for tickets. Or i just might go the stub hub route. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the course!
I see a few people each time I'm at the game with their sign: "Need tickets".

I don't think they fair too well.

This will be a hard one to get at a decent price, my friend.

Stubhub, or Ticketking, would get you a seat, but at what cost?

I wish I could give you an answer that was better, but I can't.

Good luck!

Thx for the quick reply. I have been to alot of sporting events and always have managed to get tickets on game day. However sometimes I pay cost and other times I've paid three to four times over face depending on demand. I proably will end up going the stub hub route.

Thanks again.

When I first moved to Florida I used to buy up loads of spring training tix on my credit card and then scalp them on game days.......The "NEED TICKETS" sign, or request is just a guise for scalpers since it is illegal. Yes, those guys do need tickets which they will kindly pay you less than face value and then turn around and sell it for double face value 5 minutes later. Not knocking them, they do provide a service, and one that I have used on numerous occasions. Great experiences for both Fenway and Wrigley.

Just an FYI.

yyz,

I got my tickets today. Does your ticket have a bar code on them.

Thanks

Yes. All authentic tickets from the NFL have scanner codes. If your ticket wouldn't have had one, you would have been sold fakes.

I bought them thru Stub Hub. A manager from Stub Hub called me to confirm what I was told directly by the Lambeau ticket office. Lambeau Field told me they are on the only team in the NFL that does not use bar codes on there ticketsl On the back of the ticket at the top there is the word packers in yellow. You have to hold it up to light to see it but that is what they use.

Does your ticket have a bar code on it?

Lets just say they were a tad higher than face.

I had to book a room in Manitowoc. If you have any connections in the hotel biz, let me know.

thx
