T with all due respect, have you seen anyone of Z's physique, chemistry, athleticism as big as he is ever play in the NBA? I was a scout for an NBA team (bird dog) and recommended many players who made the NBA, my first was Mike McGee when I was 16 yrs old, I recommended to Johnny Orr, when he was at Michigan, and McGee played a few years for the Fakers and earned an NBA ring. With comparisons and I don't like to make many, Z is a bigger version of Barles Charkley with a better length to his leaping ability and court speed is about the same, I think Barkley had a pretty good career, and most noteworth player close to in stature, Zach Randolph when he was w/the Griz, Z has a much better shooting touch from around the key, both space eaters and O rebound hammers.

Z will be making $ with his sneakers deal and do well in the NBA, too bad it might be in New York! :facepalm:

I agree he won't get away with a lot of things, but as he learns the big boy game playing vets, etc., he'll adjust, the good players always do and not many of his makeup out there imo. He's legit 6'7 and he's strong, evidence by his foot blowing out his tenny, LOL!!

Every prospect coming out of college in the history of ever, has only had a resume playing against other college "kids"....so I don't think NBA general managers are going to hold that against him....
I can't imagine the Cavs ever considered passing on LBJ because he had only dominated at a high school level and not against "men"


You can only evaluate a player on what he has done...trying to guess if a player's game will translate is nearly impossible, as you all have demonstrated with the list of former #1 draftees that had their careers go really good or really poorly... and on the other side, we have seen undrafted guys become stars...noone knows how it will go...


We can only go off of what we have seen....and he has been about as dominant as anyone ever at this level as a freshman. ..so I'd say at worst, he at least has a good chance to be successful at the next level....hes only going to get better
