I see they don’t allow online gambling so best alternatives?

Quality of life?
Hi Bill, I lived in the Birmingham area for 10 years. There are many places to eat either Fine dining or casual in the area. Jim and Nicks BBQ is prob the most consistent bbq joint in the city. Highway 280 and the Summit shopping area has plenty of restaurants to choose from.
Fishing- Lake Purdy has a lot of great bass fishing, from what I've been told as I am more of a salt water guy.
I always had an off shore account to gamble while living there. Great quality of life there.... if you want more info, get my email from Jack!

So far, I like Birmingham, the Steel City of the South!!

Tried the BBQ recommendations, to me, Dreamland in 5 Points South is the best BBQ. I've been to the Ball Park, it's good!!

The people here drive like complete brain donors!!

The women? Bleh!! Most looking for pay day daddy's!!

Fishing is great!! The area I like, some hilly/small mountainous areas!! Love being here!! Only 3 months in the books!! Gambling here though sucks!! No Powerball or state lottery at all. They have bingo, I can still use online book, Bovada, but the other apps won't load while in Bama, they do in Tennessee and Florida!!

Thanks D2, Betone and Josh!! Appreciate y'all!!
