Decided I was going into 2017 with a mindset of taking more risks :scared

Just bought more Bitcoin, did some research on it this wknd, its definitely the future, paper money some day will not be in use, I'm up to 1.5 now, rounded off to have full 1.5 Bitcoins so I can keep up with my balance easier, lol

Here is yuan reason that it fell

http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/01/05/unexpected-yuan-gains-affect-global-markets-bitcoin-price/

As a merchant - How could you ever put a bitcoin price on an item for sale with this kind of volatility?
You don't put a bitcoin price on anything, you put a USD price it it then use bitcoin to pay.

I accept the gains and losses by leaving it in there as bitcoin but I can leave it in there as USD too.

Transactions take so little time the price of things don't change much if at all.

Since I deal with sports book so much, BTC is an absolute necessity for me to have. I've enjoyed some huge gains along the way as well and still leaving it in there for the ride.

The bigger question is, how high did you think it would go without coming down?

I read that China has put regulations on bitcoin which is the reason for the sell off. I didn't think it would fall 40% this quick, anyway I will check it in a couple weeks and see what happens.

On the course!

But, you thought an equally quick 50% rise was normal?

Here's my take. I think a ways down the road, you guys will all be saying, "I can't believe I bought that shit!"

I've been wrong plenty before though!
