The centrists will have none of that!

You must now post some mojo in order to pay for your fault. :sadwave:

I cracked up when he spoke, I guess he forgot about the state of the union (hostages, gas lines, and the killer rabbit in the lake) and that the extremest muslims gained momentum during his tenure. Funny how the mind goes when you get old, stick to building houses jimmy.

I liked Slicks spiel on Kerry being courageous blah blah blah. We can argue many points as far as miltary service---one undeniable FACT he got 3 scratches and did the di di mau (vietnamese for got the **** out of dodge) in 4 months. Courageous--Not by my definition.

Now I did think I would ever say this but thought Kennedy's motivational part of speech was quite impressive.

Dear RAYMOND,

The extreme makeover of John Kerry continued last night in Boston.

Centrist Democrats paraded across your television screen to praise the most liberal Senator in Washington and his running mate - the 4th most liberal member of the Senate.

The Democrats are working hard to make Americans believe that these far-left politicians are actually mainstream. Only you can ensure this doesn't happen.

www.GeorgeWBush.com/JebBush/

My brother is the President, and I am very proud of him. But the truth is, I would be working just as hard for his re-election if he wasn't.

Why?

Because I believe he is the right person to lead.

My brother believes that strong families do make a difference and he fights for that belief. He believes in the constitutional rights of Americans. He believes you can have a strong, growing economy, and still safeguard the economy.

My brother would never dream of telling different audiences different stories, because he believes that values are constant, and don't change with the political winds or the special interest you're addressing.

What about John Kerry? What does he believe? Well, you can tell a lot about a Senator's beliefs from the way they vote.

Kerry has consistently voted against strengthening America's families, including his support for the distribution of the morning after pill in schools without parental notification, and his opposition to the Medicare prescription drug benefit for seniors.

Kerry's views change depending on the day and the audience.

* He told Wisconsin voters he likes to go hunting with his "trusty 12-gauge double-barrel," but he received an "F" from the National Rifle Association.
* He said in Iowa that he is personally opposed to abortion, and believes that "life does begin at conception," but he has received a 100% rating from the National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL).
* He told voters in the West that he likes "a lot of parts" of the Healthy Forests bill, but he told Democratic primary voters that the law took "a chainsaw to public forests."
* He told autoworkers in Michigan he owns "an SUV... a Chevy, a big Suburban," but then he told environmentalists, "I don't have it, the family does."

We cannot trust the presidency to someone who makes decisions by holding up his finger to determine which way the political winds are blowing.

I hope I can count on your help.

Sincerely,
[http://www.GeorgeWBush.com/JebBush/]
Governor Jeb Bush

Don't mind a lot of the smaller issues he flops on but 2 of great concern Economy and defence come to mind. --and if you want the epitomie of believe what I tell you and not what I do--try these on for size.If the conservatives don't jump on these in future ads they are nots.

Economy: Rants about Bush and deficeit but says little about cost of 911 and 2 wars--and he is the NUMBER 1 TOP DOG of liberal spender in congress.

Defence All of sudden he is gung ho on defence trying to garner the moderate vote but not only did he vote to cut intelligence funding to the bone after 1st Trade Center attack that is just tip of ice berg.
Does this voting record confirm he is strong on defence-----

In 1991 Kerry voted to cut defense spending by 2 percent. Only 21 other senators voted with Kerry, and the defense cut was defeated.

In 1991, Kerry voted to cut over $3 billion from defense and shift the funds to social programs. Only 27 senators joined Kerry in voting for the defense cut.

In 1992, Kerry voted to cut $6 billion from defense. Republicans and Democrats alike successfully blocked this attempt to cut defense spending.

In 1993, Kerry voted against increased defense spending for a military pay raise.

In 1993, Kerry introduced a plan to cut the number Of Navy submarines and their crews; reduce tactical fighter wings in the Air Force; terminate the Navy?s coastal mine-hunting ship program; force the retirement of 60,000 members of the armed forces in one year; and reduce the number of light infantry units in the Army down to one. The plan was DOA.

In 1995, Kerry voted to freeze defense spending for seven years, cutting over $34 billion from defense. Only 27 other senators voted with Kerry.

In 1996, Kerry introduced a bill to cut Defense Department funding by $6.5 billion. Kerry?s bill had no co-sponsors and never came to a floor vote.

JOB APPLICATION

NAME: John Kerry

RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including Washington DC, worth multi-millions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Law Enforcement. I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire.

MILITARY:
I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from
the military and service in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor). I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest.
Or did I? My book; Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier shows how I truly feel about the military.

COLLEGE:
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:
I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
As a US Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutt! ing our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected.

My wealth ! so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will ne! ver catc h up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in MA, despite family wealth in excess of $ 700 million.

I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit ! from the cheaper cost of labor in those Countries, although I Blame George Bush for sending all of the jobs out of Country.

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:
None.

PERSONAL
I ride a Serotta Bike.

My Gulfstream V Jet I call The Flying Squirrel.

I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche".

I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture.

I own several "Large" SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.

Great post Chanman except I would change the references and add Osama Ben Laden, Sadam Hussein and Frank Costanza from Sinefeld. You sure won't see any Viet Nam veterans in his personel references.

Carter was one of the worst presidents in history. A nice guy - he probably is that. But unless you like double digit inflation, a totally failed foreign policy and, among others, his deal to give away the Panama Canal - Carter was a complete and utter failure.
