Detailed guide to casino parking garages.
Tho due to construction, the parking garage at Monte Carlo is closed and parking very tight there. They do have a lot next to the hotel.....Bellagio self-parking garage always has room, but you will have to pop your trunk for security inspection upon entering.
If you are renting a car, see if your casino or one nearby has a rental agency on site. It's easier to do that than deal with shuttle and lines at rental place at airport. And you don't get charged (or shouldn't) the 10% airport usage fee too! You can return the car to the airport rental area.
Map of main/casino area at the Tropicana. Take the escalators you see in center (around "premium slot area") to get to upper level and walkway to convention area.
The MJ Superbowl party will be in "Hawaiian Rooms 1 and 2" in the convention area, the Trop catering dept told me. Map here of convention area.
The sportsbook at the Trop is a little room downstairs, just 25 seats and five TVs. It is run by Leroy's, which has outlets all over the valley. So if you are staying elsewhere and place a bet here, you can cash it at any Leroy's location thru out area (on strip at Riviera, Sahara and downtown at Four Queens and Golden Gate, for example). The Trop Leroy's also has an ATM-like betting kiosk that you navigate thru like offshore book. It offers stuff on many more games (golf and racing stuff mainly), and lower minimums.
The giftshop just before the sportsbook at Trop sells cigarettes for $7/pack, all brands. That is the resort-wide price at the Trop. Bit cheaper, and worth the few minute stroll to see the sights :SIB , is the $6.25 cigs at the Hooter's Casino just behind the Trop.....Next cheapest place would be 12 min hike up The Strip to the Walgreens, just past MGM and Gameworks. $5 a pack. Next to Walgreens is a Fatburger, with a internet cafe behind it ($5 for 20 mins)......a little Cigar/Beer/Wine kiosk at entrance of skywalk to convention area at the Trop has limited but OK selection of cigars. Cohiba Coronas $17.99.
