the white sox have scored 5 runs in a game 3 times in 19 games, and two of those were in extra innings. they just scored 5 in one inning off the phillies bullpen.

they finally had to bring in alvarado who, of course, has had his own issues, and certainly wasn't expecting to have to pitch at that point. it's kinda surprising it didn't get even closer.
