Toledo
YTD 2-4
MLs 1-0

well rough start going 2-4 - but ended up in the black regardless, not bad if you ask me considering I had 2 days to capp the games...

Friday:

Toledo @ Marshall -- No Line Yet -- Toledo IMO will be AT LEAST a 6 point dog. If thats the case, bank 'em

Saturday:

Western Michigan hosting Virginia. I like Western Michigan +7.5

Thats all for now. Iam looking hard at Pitt laying 31 points. But Ball St CAN pass the ball. If Ball St can put 14 points on the board, then Pitt wont cover.

Eastern Michigan and Akron seems to be like an interesting line. Its 20.5 which makes me think that Vegas is trying to make you take Akron. Charlie Frye got thrown around in the Wisconsin game. Iam leaning Eastern Michigan right now. Hell last year when NIU battled Wisconsin and barely lost, they fawking lost to Western Illinois the week after lol.

Ohio hosting Minnesota. Minny coming to Athens as a 18.5 point favorite. Iam gonna wait till the end of the week to bet this. Fred Ray left the game the Iowa St game with a stomach ailment - which is why Ohio didnt cover because his replacement fumbled the next snap, turned it over, and ISU turned it into 7 points. If Fred Ray is gonna play, then I will take the home dog.

Miami(OH) is a VERY interesting line here. I figured Miami would go to Northwestern as a dog, but I see they are laying 4.5 points. Iam gonna wait till Tuesday to bet this. Iam leaning Miami

shake the dust off hellah10.

I was wondering what percentage of plays that you make on MAC teams on any given Saturday, as opposed to all the other games ?

Hey Hellah, how is WMU supposed to do this year? Any key loses to their squad? Personally like them getting points at home.

ststrl - I think WMU is gonna make noise in the MAC West. I think that they CAN and WILL beat NIU this year. Last year, they were 4-8, but ya know...they had a QB controversy the whole season. I dont know why they had one, Chad Munson was the obvious better QB, but Gary Darnell thought otherwise. This season, Chad Munson is the starter, and has done a good job thus far (statistics wise). They lost thier top 2 WRs but Anotonio Thomas and Greg Jennings are just as good. I dont think any of the starting WRs are shorter then 6'3" they still have big daddy Phil Reed in the backfield. So basically, offensivley this is a 3D team. A running QB with a cannon arm, tall athletic WRs, and a great running game.

on defense, they got Jasin Babin. This dude is the shit. other then him, the front 4 isnt all that strong, but their secondary is pretty damn good. Western runs a 4-2-5 defense, which means...they wont give up the big play.

WMU wins this outright dude...

WMU will beat NIU this year. fawk all this hype with them beating Maryland. I cant wait to hammer WMU @ NIU wooooooooooof

YOU SEE THE UNLV GAME? TOLEDO HAS PROBLEMS THIS YEAR DUDE :nono:

1) I was in Germany at the time...so I didnt see it
2) The playbook wasnt open to Bruce Gradkowski. They only allowed the QBs to run 15 plays.
3) There was a QB controversy - now there isnt.
4) This is Marshall not UNLV

hmm this is interesting. Talking to one of my Marshall buddies (yea I have friends in Hunington...scary)

Hill had an MRI today that revealed a sprain. Pruett was quoted on the news tonight as saying Hill is doubtful for Toledo. He did not practice today as Gochneaur and Skinner took snaps with the first team.

A little something about Toledo/Marshall...

Rodney Gamby (OLB) got hurt in the Liberty game. Now, I dont know why he`s starting. He might be starting cuz he went to Toledo St Francis(down the street from the University) and was All-Ohio and All-This and All-That. Rodney Gamby is an undersized slow white guy(iam not racist, its just the truth)

In to step in for him...

Mike Broussard. A transfer from Wisconsin. I believe he was All-Big 10 2 years ago. He transfered to Toledo to be with his baby brother Quinton Broussard. So now he`ll be starting the rest of the year and will be kicking that ass.

Reason why this is important...

Toledo runs a 4-4-3 defense. When you play a team like Marshall, they are gonna spread the field on you. OLB is the MOST IMPORTANT player on the field. He has major responsibilities. He has to cover short 1/3rd of the field, has to cover the flat, has to lay out anybody that crosses his face (tight end) and other things. Having a muchhhhhhh and I mean MUCH faster guy on the field at OLB will help this UT defense. They coulda beat UNLV if he was on the field.

Iam assuming your talking about Mike Turner. He`ll have his carries and yards...but the pass rush by WMU is so good, that Josh Haldi is gonna get buried to the ground..

ststrl - Thanks a bunch for the kind words bro:)

A correction about Mike Broussard...he didnt make All-Big 10 teams...this is the low on him

Started all 12 games for Wisconsin at cornerback in 2001 with 51 tackles and three interceptions...Played eight games as a true freshman in 2000, making 11 tackles.

Another thing about WMU/Virginia...

dude, this is a game of emotions/inches/speed..etc...

but man, emotion can sure turn the light switch on for players. I think we all saw that when San Diego St beat the fawk out of Craig Krenzel and made him eat dirt on more then one occassion. Teams like Northern and BG beating teams like Maryland and Purdue. Man, some places have Purdue projected to wint the Big10 and Maryland to finish Top 3 in the ACC....and they lost...and they get all the pub. Now high schoolers see this shit, they figure, welllll these MAC schools arent bad, maybe I should peep them out since they proved they can win on TV against a big time school....

Dont ya think Western Michigan wants that????? 2 ranked teams fall in the hands of the MAC - Western Michigan beats Virginia...ohh fawk, Kalamazoo will erupt. Gary Darnell allready knows how to recruit...dont forget he was the Defensive Coordinator at Texas since 1992, Notre Dame, UNC, Kansas St...this dude knows what he`s doing...trust me...he dont fawk around -- he knows how to bring in players and he knows how to coach them...

they are gonna fawking wooof

WMU +8 OLY right now, this line probably won't move too much between now and Fri night...will it:shrug: I'd pull the trigger now if you think it may move in UVA'S direction.

Anthony Martinez is not a running threat - Al Grohl said it himself...then again, words are misleading. He was a star in high school, All-American QB...but he`s getting thrown to the wolves here. Hell I`d get it now

mann fawk this...

gimmie Pittsburgh -31.5

Ball St couldnt score on Missouri. I know I talk Missouri up as if they are the Texas Longhorns or something...but Missouri didnt force ANY turnovers on Ball St and still whooped that ass by 28 points.

And now they gotta to Heniz Field?!?!? To Pitt!!!??!? HAHAHAHA Pitt is gonna fawk....them...UP. Pitt on the other hand WILL force turnovers.

I can promise everybody here at MJs 2 things

1) Pitt WILL create turnovers this Saturday
2) Ball St WILL NOT get more then 70 rushing yards!! This Pitt D stopped Josh Cribbs. Man, if you stop Josh Cribbs, then your furreal. I dont care what BCS league your from, if you can limit Cribbs to 44 yards on 15 runs and Alston to 28 yards on 13 runs...then your not fawking around. This is the same Josh Cribbs that ripped through West Virginia D in 2001 and Ohio St's D in 2002.

I dont think Ball St will get more then 10 points in this game...

routeeeeeeee
