Got your attention?

That's great!

I can't belive how many of these new clods make headlines like this on their threads, and 1000 people view their idiocy. It's like you guys are gawking at a train wreck!

I firmly believe, after all this place has had to offer over the years, you guys still want to go with the snake oil salesmen! A guy can come in here with no track record, make a glaring post, and everyone feels the need to "see what's behind the curtain".

I'll bet a ton of you call those free 800 numbers in the USA Today every weekend, too! "Yeah....I know I shouldn't, but it sounds so good!"

God bless every new poster, but let's get real. You guys buy the sizzle instead of the steak.

By the way.......those of you still looking for that 14 point blow out? There isn't one. I don't like this game.

when someone comes along and picks alot of games correctly, people will follow them no matter what their post number...how many times youve posted or how long youve been on this forum doesnt make you a "steak":nono: ...you should be happy this place is growing, im sure madjack is.

That is true, and should be true! I am referring to posts that get read based soley on there title. (Like this one will!)

Some guys feel it is more important to be "read", than post solid plays.

His thread has nothing to do with growth

I. for one, don't follow anybody. Be it a Newbie or a Seasoned Capper. Now if someone is on a hot streak and you coat tial I see nothing wrong with that at all.
(if you don't have the time or the desire to do your own work)
On the otherhand I do read the Seasoned Cappers threads but have better things to do with my precious time than wasting valuable seconds on a Loud Mouth Wannabe Tout I got Your Winner Here Newbie ;)

Got that right. :yup

I read these kind of posts because I like to see what kind of idiot would start a thread like this. I guess you qualify! Congrats.:moon:

Excellent posts as always, yyz.

Most of the attempts at squelching the ?Locks, GOY, Huge? plays is to protect the newbies who haven?t been doing this a long time. I am now of the mind that I don?t care about the FNG?s anymore. The same great information that made me come to Madjack?s in the first place is still here (for the most part), it?s just a lot more difficult to find.

So let the guys that post the guaranteed plays and the locks post away and let the newbies follow. Sponsors will start lining up to get a crack at these new bloods and we?ll probably get some much better deals.

I always open threads with titles like "LOCK", "GUARANTEE", "BET YOUR HOUSE ON IT", "If this play doesn't cover by 14 points, I will leave Madjack's forever!":D, while crossing my fingers, hoping that I'm NOT on the same side or total:eek:. If I AM, I usually buy it back or play the other way. ;)

So......who's covering by 14 tonite, anyways, yyz??:D I need a LOCK:brows:

ddubs,

I am far too busy to post my reasoning behind my play. (Name that 'famous' poster) After the game is over, I will post my thoughts on why the bet covered. As I said, far too busy right now.
