anybody have one ? any feedback appreciated. I like em without the body armor(heavy lower panel moldings) in a z-71 or northface edition. Does anyone have the xm radio and is it worth it?

I got XM radio as a gift... not really worth it in my eyes... I listen to too many CDs.
I compare the music to that on the Direct TV music channels.

I got a price today for an 04 w/out armor w/z-71, tubular assist steps, sunroof, leather heated buckets w/bose system 6 cd and rear audio,17" wheels, onstar for 1 year,xm,roof rack for $33,299 bottom line including incentives. is yours similarly equipped and what do you think of the price? sticker was 41,670. They also have a left over 03 w/North face package. Going to check em out tomorrow. any info appreciated...

thamks doc, I looked at the 150 04 supercrew. bottom number i got was 34.7, interior was nice, upon close though it's all just painted plastic to look like alumimum, etc., center console was heavy platsic, avalanche has the closed bed/wcover, just like the versatility, at much less then the cadillac model. Getting these prices from a friend of a friend who owns a few dealerships in Ma. including Chevy and Ford. No incenticves on 04 f150's. The avalanche is more equipped than the 150 for 1500, don't want to go nuts, basically a work vehicle.

got mine dec of 2001. never been happier with a truck. can use it to take client's out and also haul anything. rides like a primo cadillac. smoooooooth!
they have killer accessories for them along with ton's of aftermarket items. they sell a tent that fits over the back with the tailgate down, it's awesome, if you get cold just turn on your truck, ant the heater, play tunes or whatever.

got a photo? how do you like the xm? sounds nice w/the 20's. Don't know if I'll do any mods, gonna use it for work and heading to place in maine, generally don't plow out the drives, tough gettin in last year w/all the snow....
i'll take a photo tomorrow for you. did you know that chevrolet sell's a snow plow that you can attach to the front bumper. i wanted to get it but not much use in los angeles. 4wd works awesome. i use it alot on beaches when i go ocean kayaking. xm is pretty good for the price once you buy the receiver.
Thanks mj, they charged 325 for xm and I still have to buy reciever or subscription? is that for a pre wire fee or something like that?
Mine is a 03, no xm radio, with the armor, no Onstar option, and I'm getting the after market steps. Like I said I can't be happier with it. I'm thinking your price is great, that's close to what I paid.

nice color, how is the charcoal holding up? got a price 200 bucks cheaper if i ordered it from a dealer in georgia, wasn't sure about the tan or charcoal w/black exterior.
Been holding up great, seeing as I have a 4 and a 2 year old in car seats. I just try to keep it as clean as I can.
