The way that I look at this is that anyone that waits to make their plays or post plays between 1100 AM Sunday and 1 PM
hasn't got much room to complain. They arn't helping the majority here who wait for certain players to post.
This is a very popular web site. It gets overloaded once in awhile like anything that has too many people trying to access at once.
Its understandable.
If your going out to a nice restaurant.
Show up after six on Friday night, the busiest day of the week, and you may end up eating at Wendys midnight take out window.
Just accept that there will be times its harder to get in and access the site.
Blame yourself for not posting sooner or making your plays until crunch time. This is not a perfect world that caters to every gamblers last minute urges.

Scott i understand completely about peak times and the popularity card. First i am not trying to get last minute plays or anything like that. However, like your example of wendys, what if you had millions who wanted a part stock, but they could not get it because the market just opened and it was too busy. Are you kidding me? Or if yahoo, google, or any other website for that matter just didn't work because too many people wanted to see it as the same time ie Sept 11th. If you are going to put up a website and you have too many people who want to look at it at a certain time wouldn't you want to expand your capacity or would you just be happy with leaving things the same?

I would do what I could to resolve it and in the meantime count my blessings that so many people want to come.
In other words if you were to decide not to come here anymore because of slow access on peak periods, I would be glad to get your spot on Sundays at 1200 noon .

i purchased the best machine they offered and maxed it out with RAM and it's still slow on peak days and hours.
anybody have any suggestions on what to get?
i suspect it's the database server and this forum software and will be looking to change some things but it's too busy this time of year to make huge changes because we can't afford any down time.
there must be better forum software out there somewhere.
we use php and mysql, i think.
i really ain't too savvy with the tech chit.
help!!

Jack, just thought last sunday was a lot slower than in the past, but was probably a lot busier, I know at 1 point you came close to beating the record for most people logged on at once....
