TITFD plays 2003 - 66%

Falcons plays 2003 - 70%

Maybe you should do some research before you open
your trap again.

Is the Duke play in there? Since you have the time can you please go back into 2002 and see how the TITFD plays did. 4-9?

Also 70% winners sounds impressive until you realize that you were laying an average of -180 on those puppies. Scooter, the newbies might think you're good when you boast, but I've been here since it all began.

Yeh Duke play was in there.

You know since I have the time, I think I would be better served
to go back to day one in 1999 and post your records.

Oh geezz this otta be good. Something tells me there is a dead
fish in the woodpile.

I had to go back to the super archives to find it but 1999 was not a good year for BobbyBlueChips. Barely 38% overall ?????

.................................................................................
As bad as the Rams played, I had a worse effort than they did. Just when you think you got it all figured out then . . . BBAAAMMMM.

Congrats to the Pats and their backers. I'm not wagering on another football game / BobbyBlueChip
......................................................................

At least you knew when to quit.

Your 2002 record was horrible .

2003 barely 50%.

"I'm not wagering on another football game for at least 6 months"

It was after the Super Bowl. Get it? I also got most of my money back that day with a Pats ML hedge and a Ricky Proehl prop, but facts have never been your thing.

1999? Those records just aren't available, anymore and it was before I started my meteoric rise in the online handicapping world, so, again, the truth isn't your thing.

I don't make much money at this, but I don't lose, either and it's more than most can say, especially you.

OK now at least your thinking.

You sound alot like Pete Rose to me. Maybe you could go for
his record of lies for 14 years.

You should change your name. You havent seen a Rio chip
in years.

Sorry to have shown your records. I know that hurts.

Good luck to you and yours.

Then would you mind just posting your 2003 overall records ?

Or do the facts just matter when you questioned
my 2003 records ?

Yeh I thought as much.

. . . And you are right, I haven't seen a blue chip in years. The Rio changed them to purple like everyone else about 20 months ago, so I collect the purple chips now. BobbyPurpleChip just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Now, if you could start keeping detailed records, I think EVERYONE would benefit.

You got no room to question anyones plays.

Maybe you should wait and just play baseball.

Scott %'s aren't the main factor in gambling, it is what you put in your pocket that counts.

Mr Hockey

I know percentages arnt the main factor.

BobbyChits is a money manager type. He tends to stay conservative and not take any chances. I say fawk the chances.
It takes money to make money in this world we live in.

So when the game comes along and everything is right..

Then you slam it down, and I mean slam it down hard !
Its simple really.

I make fewer plays for bigger dollars. It took me awhile to get here. So far it works for me.

I also know I put alot more in my pockets than BobbyChits
in 2003. I think he secretly follows all of my plays though. He
likes to win.

While I agree with Mr. Hockey in the fact that money in the pocket matters more than percentages, it's not as important as ROI. If you rarely play more than 10 units in a week, 10 units > even is significant.

Percentages mean something when you take the side at the line, but Scooter, you never do that. ML's on 8-point favs, 3.5 point buys, Who does that?

Another way that we're different is that a reader knows exactly how much my plays are worth BEFORE the game. You come out with the sums of money that you wagered only after it hits, and you let everyone know who you've coattailed only after they've been on a run.

I'm pretty much done with this thread as you've proved how little you know about wagering, yet again, and there's actually some handicapping to get done before tomorrow. But you don't need to do that because you don't bet non-TITFD plays. . . until after they come in.

I am pretty much done with this thread also. Sorry it took you a month to decide to come in your own thread. You seem to have no problems coming into my threads saying goofy things.

I will try to explain. I always cap my own games. When that is done I check in Madjacks and there are select posters that I look at to detemine a final play. I also keep track of posters that are on streaks or have ungodly luck. Money can be made on recognizing winning streaks. Money can be made recognizing ungodly luck as well.

I almost never go into a thread and say anything before the game if I agree with the play, because some people think that can jinx them. I do go in posts when I am on the other side.

After the game I will go in and say something. I am not sure why that bothers you so much.

I went in DRs thread on the Colts yesterday , but he is confident enough that it don't bother him.

I make wagers and win on games alot of times with others help. What is wrong with that ?

If I get to the point where I feel real strongly about a play, the books give us the opportunity to buy points or play ML or whatever. I feel that it provides me with more of a advantage to win. I know that is against all your principles of wagering but I don't give two chits about the way you gamble and you shouldn't care about mine.

In order to play moneylines and buy points you have to start with a pretty good bankroll. I wager with money I set aside for gambling. If I lose it I stop and save up again.

Even Nick Douglas after many years of money management thinking has come to the realization that you have to vary wagers to win.

I found out early I was not a money manager type that could play the same amount on every game. It makes me nuts.

I do know that I enjoy sports wagering a great deal.

I do know the differance between 51% and 70%.

And I do know what to do when a TITFD play comes along.

As good old edludes would say, good luck either way.
