2nd Martini Ranch, 400 block of W Chicago Ave btwn Wells and Orleans, top shelf bar, nice talent around

3rd Marias Riptide Lounge, Armitage Ave on the W side of the Kennedy Exp. Best bar in the whole city. 4 O'clock, ask Tina to sing

Chicago is my home town and my daughter is presently attending school there. May I suggest a few? Iwill try to give you places with double door entry so as to fit your huge head.

Dining:
Fireplace Inn on Wells and North Excellent food

Las Cazuelas on Pulaski just past Lawrence. Best authentic Mexican in Chi town. very reasonable

Gene and Georgettas Good Steaks

Lidos On ontario is also very good and reasonably priced.

If traveling on North side try Daniels on Northwest Hwy and Nagle for a great Italian combo, hot dog and fries.

Suzies on Elston for your late night cravings as it is always open.
Wiener circle for a good hot dog on Clark near Wrigley

If at all possible try to make it out to Buffalo Joes in Evanston for the suicide wings and a frosty pint of beer, my highest recommendation!!!!

South side:
Paragon 4300 w. 95th, a fantastic family atmosphere with a very extensive and satisfying menu. May I suggest the Butt steak.

Suparossa makes a great pizza, Giordanos and Rosatis also do O.K. but aren't my favorite. There is a place in Oak Lawn that makes a helluva stone ground brick oven pizza called little italy that is dynamite.

Reds Drive in on 111th and Western or pulaski for a great double double

Kens guest house for the more elegant or pricey dinner.

Chans chop suey on western for the fried rice.

Jansons on western for a good hot dog.

Entertaniment:

Buddy Guys blues bar

Tequila Roadhouse

Drink

Kaboom if it is still open

Hobos for a dive

If you are gay I am sorry, I only know of one and that is Hunters on Touhy, (work for an airline, lots of gays).

Museum of Science and Industry

Billy Goat Tavern for a saturday afternoon beer
or the Glenview house is nice too.

And of course all the shopping a man of your obvious tastes can handle. I don't know where you are staying but I doo know that the Drake has extremely large fluffy pillows that you can rest your huge head on and cry yourself to sleep at night.
