I used to live about 15-20 minutes from this place. They didn't have a poker room then, and I doubt they do now. It's a decent casino, though. I think it is the busiest casino in the world (or was at one point). I used to see Larry Flint there often. I shot craps with Jack McKeon, then manager of the Reds, there as well.

Overall, it is better than most riverboat casinos that I have been on. Too bad it's near the armpit of America, Cincinnati.

Is this place just outside of Cincy on the Indiana border?

Believe I went there a couple years back if its the same place I am thinking of, but there was no poker sad to say. Pretty much had every other table game though.

Jack, I don't believe they have poker. Overall pretty nice as far as riverboats go. Buffet also very good. Have always been comp very good. Good Luck

No poker buddy, but nice casino. Great craps tables.

If u want poker in Indiana have to go down to caesar in indiana, 10 mins from louisville, played poker there many times. New Albany about an hour from columbus

Nice casino but no poker........if you go on a weekend/holiday, plan on it being packed. Tough to find an open Blackjack table during these times.......at least a cheap one.

As far as table games about anything u would want.

I actually prefer this over argosy but have more comps at argosy!! But I like poker, and can only take so much caribeaan stub and 3 card poker.

Also been told there is a holdem table game at belterra which is not too far either, but no poker there either. I would like to see how the casino plays a holdem table game, if anybody has seen this please explain it.

i'll be back in indy the first week of march and will definitely check it out down there. wife says it's only about 45 minutes from us.

It is a table game holdem, u bet against the house, that's what i mean by table game, just like u play blackjack against the house.

Jack maybe we can get together next time ur in this area.

The Argosy is a pretty nice place......unfortunatly it is always really packed. I like the Ceasar also. I'd love to meet up with some madjackers down there, since my lame ass can never make it out to Vegas

Actually heading to Vegas for the first round of the NCAA's, should be a blast...

Caesers gives really good comps also, been there many times, had several rooms comped...use to live 25 minutes from it, now up here in the armpit of the nation...:moon: Cincy!:flush:

Ceasars is well worth the trip very nice casino and the have a poker room. argosy is not bad also heading there next week for a lil craps action.
