I have found that when I'm in a slump, take some time off. Hell last year I took the whole year off. I was just on a bad run and it was much needed. I still looked at games and tried to get smarter about the way I gamble and so far (knock on wood) it has paid off. Not setting the world on fire but I have stuck to my new budget system. Take a day off and make your picks anyway and after you have positive day of picking, lay some money down the next.
As far as a parley goes, when your cold, don't decrease your odds of winning by taking two teams. One team is hard enough to win but when your hot, take a chance on a parlay here and there.

I agree with HailMary, but it's easier said than done! LOL

Baseball season is a long season, and it's ideal for short breaks to catch your breath...I usually wait to see how bad my losing streak gets before I decide on time off...also, I try to coincide it with vacation time.

Right now, I'm riding a doozy of a losing streak...AND playing some parlays as well...just can't satop myself yet, I guess...

Like the Pirates. Great price for this doggie.

Love the Cubbies think you would probably get better value on the Cubbies and Halos.

Best of Luck

I do agree what they say "i'm not the one". Look at me, I had been off the betting for a long while. I look at the board often and can't seem to get on track. So I try to lean back and see if I am back into the groove. Whenever you're gambling, you still need a lot of luck on your side.

Keep cool in mind and lean back when you're cold.

You will know when you're hot, you're hot that is when you will know who to play.

Don't force yourself, is a long season.

MY HUMBLE OPINION YOUR BETTER OFF TAKING A SMALL BREAK...OR LIMIT YOUR PLAYS TO ONE A DAY OR ONE EVERY TWO DAYS OR SO...AND JUST PLAY YOUR STRONGETS PLAY...

THE RUNLINE PARLAY IS NOT A GOOD WAY TO GET OFF THE SNIDE IMO....IF YOUR GOING THROUGH A SLUMP JUST PICKING A WINNER..NOW YOUR ASKING FOR TWO TEAMS TO WIN BY 2 RUNS OR MORE...JUST WAY TOO MANY VARIABLES IMO ...

BUT THATS JUST MY OPINION...GOOD LUCK

If your on a bad run a parlay is the worst thing you can do, I agree with these guys, take a break for a few weeks..

Also great thing to do is not put any wagers in but cap games and see how they turn out, then when on a good run, go in and start making the wagers again!

If picking STRAIGHT UP winners lately has been tough enough for you, don't you think it would even more difficult to require them to win by 2 runs AND not be able to split since they're in a parlay? Heck I would be able to see it if maybe you went with run line underdogs because at least that way you could get some confidence back and have a 1 run cushion to work with. But laying runs when just picking winners is tough is questionable, win or lose.
