was taking a leak this early evening, and lo and behold look out the window and 3 wild turkeys sitting 12-15 feet out the window just grazing..(good size from what i hear)....don't hunt or anything like that but thought was interesting....shocked the snot right out of me how fast they can run.....turkeys in my back yard...last week 12-14 deer in my front porch yard....unreal....what shows up on the 65 acres of this land...blows me away sometimes...truthfully.
pike season opens saturday....

Once again, I am shocked and appalled at this thread. It is reminicent of last years softball thread by the lesbian hoard chit chatting about where the game was, directions thereto, and what everyone was doing that night. Mindless banter between locals concerning subjects only significant to these few self centered individuals have no place on these boards.
Crabcakes? It's not just about you boys. Have you ever heard of e-mail? Please keep your posts directed to matters of general public interest such as the decadence of the republican party, why Kerry will make an excellent president, the current evil administration, lawyers and puppy dogs, how corporate america has taken over this country and finally, the evils of tort reform.
Remember boys, this forum is entitled "General Discussion" not specific discussions on crabcakes and the men who love them. Good God guys, grow some hair already and stop acting like a bunch of lesbos after wupping up on some non-butch softball team.

Sorry ED, don't even follow what a Kerry/Bush or whatever dental records' recovered from an accident are....could care less about politics/religion/race/ topics--....the only intent is to encypt my message to who are devoted sports handicapping money extremists.....ie: (ones that would like to make money in regards to sports gambling--whatever the prop or sport---

where is it u live again, IE? Sounds like a great place! Do u have waterfowl too? I got a turkey on the 4th (second to last day of the season). A typical tom here is 20-25 pounds.

65- You should see the turkeys at my hometown. I was back over Xmas and there were like 15-20 wild turkeys that came to our yard daily because my Mom left out feed for them. Granted, if you tried to shoot them, she'd probably try to shoot you, but if there are that many in our 5-acre yard, you gotta think there are a ton of them in other places in our area (I grew up about a half-hour east of St. Paul on I-94).

I've tried crabcakes at quite a few restaurants out here in baltimore, eastern shore, etc. By far, the very best crab cakes I have ever had served to me at a restaurant is near your neck of the woods. There is a restaurant in Frederick, MD called Brewsters Alley that makes them absolutely AWESOME. You ever been there? If not you gotta go and try their crabcakes they're the best.
