Between Green Bay and Iowa City
The will of God prevails. In great contests each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God. Both may be, and one must be, wrong. God cannot be for and against the same thing at the same time. In the present civil war it is quite possible that God's purpose is something different from the purpose of either party; and yet the human instrumentalities, working just as they do, are of the best adaptation to effect his purpose. I am almost ready to say that this is probably true; that God wills this contest, and wills that it shall not end yet. By his mere great power on the minds of the now contestants, he could have either saved or destroyed the Union without a human contest. Yet the contest began. And, having begun, he could give the final victory to either side any day. Yet the contest proceeds.

This is a logical fallacy (composition.) Just because all of those people worshiped the same God as GW doesn't mean he is getting the same guidence. There is no "God" speaking to these people, they are recieving guidence from themselves.

The guys you mentioned;
Churchill, Grant, Eisenhower, Patton, Einstein, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams, JFK, FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan

Very smart men.

GW on the other hand...

I wonder if JFK was calling onto a higher power when screwing Miss Monroe or Sam Giancana's mistriss.

i wonder why the judgemental American public continues to analyze the actions of everyone who acknowledges that there is a higher power but quickly forgets about their own

to assume that anyone who believes in God is not capable of defying him demonstrates ignorance beyond explanation

Why do you assume I am ignorant of these capabilities? Why do you assume that all the leaders who have spoken and written of God did that as true believers and not politicians and leaders for the morale of the people? Robert E. Lee acted more Christian like then Ulysses S. Grant did. Then again perhaps both truly believed. Perhaps not. I know one thing, decisions should be made on intelligence and information then hope and prayer.

Nah, was to Mr. Freeze. I was just trying to be funny in a sarcastic way before guess it offended him. Well enough politics and religion for today before I get a headache.

IT says on our money IN GOD WE TRUST.

So yeah, would be pretty prudent to get advice from God, who BTW created us and the universe and the multiple known and unknown solar systeyms.
