Scott, are you kidding me? Do you honestly sit there and wonder "oh gee what did i do wrong" when you are criticizing someone who posts good, informative information. You are ciritizing the format of someone who desires to post something that contributes to the actual handicapping here (unlike your posts where all you do is talk about how great USC is and how bad the rest of the world is and how the SEC and Big 12 are..... etc. blah blah blah)

And yet you cant figure out why people are giving you a hard time about it.

Then, Madjack himself gets on there and says WTF to you and you still are saying WTF to yourself.

I havent seen Madjack post more than twice in the 2.5 years ive been on this board. You certainly know how to bring out the best in people, Scott.

PS your posts are taking up more space than MC's are. Trust me on that.

Master Capper

. . . Wouldn't it be more productive to just provide a link to where you get all the previews?

Can you please provide me a link? I can bookmark the link and go to it when I need the previews. No point in start handicapping now 2.5 months prior to start of the season. Teams don't start summer practices until August. Thanks MC!!!!

Is it possible for the rest of us in the world to do things, and it not be considered wrong by you?

Can you be any more egotistical and degrading to others at the same time? The sad thing is, I don't think you know how you come across. You CONTINUALLY come back with the same kind of reaction time after time though. YOU'RE NEVER WRONG.

You know what I equate this to? A freakin' car wreck. That's what you are now. People read your drivel to see what kind of horse hockey is going to flow from your pie hole next. You use words like: NEVER, NOBODY, ALWAYS, IMPOSSIBLE, NO ONE, THIS HAS TO BE A MISTAKE - just to name a few in this thread alone.

"I guess you like having 111 new threads of 111 div. 1a team previews."
(what did you hope to accomplish from this statement? - What the hell business is it of yours what he likes or dislikes, and better yet, what does that have to do with anything at all?)

"Boy all of you are sensitive. I wouldn't know all of you appreciate his posts by the # of replies he gets and the limited views his posts have."
(when you get your ears pinned back it must be us that's sensitive, not you that's wrong for pointing out his imperfections on the "Scott4USC-o-meter". Then prop yourself up by noting how many posts/views you have compared to someone else. {I believe that I already covered this in the car wreck theory up above} Classy. )

I'd figure that it'd sink in enventually. You are one of a kind - and I don't mean that like your mom meant it when she said it to you. I hope for your case that this is the only place where you bring that kind of attitude. Because in the real world - people like you either jump from job to job always thinking that everyone else is the one with the problem, or worse yet. You end up a manager, and make everyone elses lives miserable. Please don't tell me it's the latter. If I was you, I'd take some notes on what people are saying, and apply them to your everyday life - you might not be in so many debates all of the time. Doesn't it get old

Madjack / IE2002 i use the forum and no bookmarks. i also dont use AOL.

I honestly had never seen a post from you until you reminded all of us in the CFB forum to not have hypothetical conference supremacy talk during the actual football handicapping season where Scott was lobbying for Pac 10 legitmacy (and may have obtained a few takers) I attribute this to simply not paying attention on my part (sorry)!! Hard to miss 11,000 posts... but I remember saying to myself "wow the bs must really be getting thick in here, Madack himself posted (for it to stop)."

My Grandpa had a stroke and Mon. we took him to ER and he had to spend 3 nights in hospital. I volunteered to spend the 3 nights with my Grandma since she did not want to be alone in her big house and she does not drive. He is fine now so that is good news (along with Mike Williams ;)). Since this was not sports related, I can sorta tie it in. My Grandparents next door neighbor is professional golfer Duffy Waldorf. Now onto the replies!!!!!

Where do I start. First off, why did all of you have a problem with my opinion on Master Capper? I do not think it is productive to post all 111 div. 1a team previews on 111 new threads. That is my opinion but I never said his posts are not informative. If I am the only one who thinks it is not productive, then no changes are needed. I really thought my suggestion was a good one (and still do), but you all beg to differ and that is cool. Mr. Hockey was the only one who read what I wrote and replied with his opinion (which is what I was looking for). Rest of you had worthless posts about me and took my post the wrong way. I think MC should have 5-6 conference threads and post all the previews from each team in the conference thread. Just my opinion and that?s all.

Madjack

I wrote that post to MC and do what is best for the forum. If people thought my suggestion was a bad one, that is cool but the replies these posters wrote were hideous. It was about me and not about what I wrote and MC. Mr. Hockey was the only one who offered his opinion on the subject. I also think you are supposed to express your opinion in the forum. So I do not understand where you are getting at.

Avalanche

You reply was absurd. I did not take away anything from his posts. I even complimented his information. I was offering a suggestion on what I think would be best way to read his previews and he and the forum could take it or leave it. You are trying to make this a personal attack which it was clearly not. The previews MC posts are very informative and I think they would be better served in one thread or divide them into conference threads.

Nice post but I disagree with your opinion about me. I also think you don?t understand that this is a forum. If I post my opinion on who I think are the top conferences or teams, and I back up with my opinion with solid support, I did a damn good job. The vast majority of the people who disagree with me have no support backing up their opinion so I get a big kick out of it. They like you, try to attack the poster and not the subject matter. They love to voice their opinion but have no substance behind it, yet love to attack my support. It is very comical to me and I enjoy it. I only wish that mansu- mansa (however you spell it) disagreed with me on a subject because he, like me, don?t just throw out an opinion. We both back ours up and counter argue the others. Maybe you should not attack me personally as a poster, and just attack the information. If you don?t like it, then you do not have to participate in the thread. No problem with me. I do not care what you think of me as a person because this is a message forum, A MESSAGE FORUM! I treat others with respect on here and try not to bash at all (even though others bash me). I like to talk about subject matter, not about posters. Too bad others cannot operate the same way.

Glad to hear things have improved and I wish your family the best -- strokes can be tough on everyone.

As for your idea on different conference threads I think it's a good one. But again I'd have to wonder how many times you'd post about the Pac Ten/USC in the ACC, SEC, Big 12, Big East, Conference USA, and MAC threads if they did exist.
