logging in to view is just temporary. i am going to do that for a few hours every week to encourage new people to sign up and join in. i'll turn it back soon.
many say it's faster, some say it's slower and it's about the same for me. i am, however, going to add more ram to the server to see if that speeds things up.

I dont really notice much different about the speed and I like this new setup alot better it's easier for me to get around the site! The only bitch I have is that when I go to read some of the threads the print is so damn small that it really strains my eyes, now bear in mind that I have above average vision so I am sure it's not my eyes!
we had a problem with the server that we didn't know about until the new software was installed so the site was slower since the change. today it should be faster than before and more consistant. also, we are having some more server upgrades in the days to come so you should get even better results after those improvements have been completed.chump said:

alot faster today from this end since the server problem was fixed...faster than at anytime ive been around here., thats from here anyways..
The last two days it has been really dragging. Today is better but still not even close to what I would call fast or as fast as I have seen this place in the past.
