copy and paste help

There's an icon in Acrobat with a little T (the one next to the hand) and it changes your cursor to a text selection tool. Highlight the text to be copied and right-click on it. select Copy from the cursor menu, then go to MS Word and paste away.
I don't think that would work on many documents. Only reason I'm saying this is because I work with a lot of titles and deeds in the pdf format, and I can't copy and paste them into word. These are docs that were scanned into pdf and the fonts are old english. They don't translate over for lack of a better term.
True, if they are scanned then there is no way. I work with a lot of contracts that were distilled into PDF from Word so I know that works. I spose if they were originally scanned files then your only hope is to use a software package that vectorizes a scan.
Yeah -- I think you are dead on. I played around and it seems to work on anything that was in Word orignally then distilled into PDF. The docs I have here that became PDF through a different method seem to be locked.
