1st of all very upset over some of the mail i have got from a few of you and others saying this is a rip off, no far from it last 3 years you paid a 100 each for a privite at sunset, had buffett for 1.5 hours 30 mins more then any buffet line runs when you have a party with a buffett i should know since jeri has been a dir of conventions or asst. dir of conventions out here for over 18 years at the major megas resorts, we have now got a party at one of the best places in vegas and they are going to run food all day for the party that is unherd of, gvr is a major step up from sunset station, your paying 115 more if you pay cash then you did last year , hell yhe only place i could get was the owleans and it was 190 a person, gvr gave me a bid of 400 so we got a big cut with the book who set this up they had a nice high contect, jeri would not book this party and could not at the aladdin for less then 310 per person.
The only reason it was 100 perperson at sunset was because i had a good in before all the change over and Jack still ended up paying over 2 grand each year out of pocket for all the extra drinks people had and we went over 1 hour last year with room and bar, after game was over, the cost of the sirts and the mugs and stuff also the room decerations were not done by sunset i have a poutside person named susan the ballon lady , she does all your major conventions and super bowl parties the hotel itself does not do this for a convention the contract it out.
So all you have to do is make a deposit in a book just like i have to and jack did and you play off that money for the year,you all gamble anyway then your party is paid for for free, i don't understand what the problem is, you are getting the best privite super bowl party in vegas you can count on that like i said i know everything about conventions and what goes on during super bowl, most places won't even book a party because they have there vip parties and slot party which is low end and a party for highrollers that casino itself puts on, we have one of the highest rated resorts in vegas at the wiskey bar which is the same owner of the world famous wiskey bar in new york, food for the whole time and free top shelf drinks the whole time. You will not get a better deal then this, the orleans was only 25 bucks less and buffet was only for 1 hour then they would break it down, it would of ran from 2:30 to 3;30 then it would be gone, well GVR is running the whole time, you make a deposit and you go for free not a rip off and i am working on something to do on fri. you think this stuff all comes for free that we got in the past trust me far from free i had to sell my sole to have that hourse shit party on fri that bob screwed up last year , the year before it was better because i had the gm of sunset on my side last year he was canned 2 months before party and all staff left right before party and convention staff left after they way the new gm bitch treated us. So lot of work goes into this but nothing was ever given us for free, it came out of different pockets trust me.
This is a very very upscale place, maybe we can do boxing on fri at the orleans price is great and women enjoy the fights live once they see one, that is why women make up 43% of the live boxing crowd in vegas and over 60% of the ufc crowd. so we will do something fri night or we will meet at a local pub close to the strip on sunset called big dors or pt's pub which is fun and nice but we will meet somewhere.
Madjohn just don't show up i think you are from another site anyway just here to cause trouble, hey you a big vegas guy easy soulation if you don't like what we have worked hard to do over last 5 years just go hang out at another privite party that you can find or who invites you, don't knock our set up.Jack goes out of his way for this and i put lot of time in also as well as lanny. this is not a easy thing to do and you try john to get the wiskey bar for a party and screens and sound system like we have and come back and show me your price, it is not that hard make a deposit bet which we all do and go to a free party that you have been paying for the last 5 years at 100 a pop with out anybets. this is a 5* 4 diamond resort and only 115 more then you paid the last 5 years per person if you choose not to make a deposit and play off of it. you won't get a better price i was given a bid of 400 from them, thanks to a sports book owner who has a house out here and ties to GVR he got it down to 215 and in the wiskey bar I had us just in some small room half the size of last year. this is a resort not sunset station of course price is going to be higher it would of been at sunset if I did not have a in and like i said jack still had to lay out a good chunk out of pocket.
this will be the best party we ever had and most upscale one, which sunset did do a nice job the convention people for us just casino and bitch lady gm and bob messed it up last year so they would not have us come back so they could use the room which is booked for one of their vip only parties so that is why the made it as hard on us as they could, and i did tell her to fuk off and called he the magic c word to her face for the treatment they gave us the no ac to make it hot as hell, the screw up on fri and telling bob to be rude and not comp. there is way more to this stuff then any of you have a clue about on setting it up, it is far from easy, now we have the best of the best and have a few people who want to bitch and one who is here just to cause a problem IMO not jacks or anyone else but i am sure he is a spy from another site right madjohn, if you don't like what is offered don't go but let the others enjoy a party at a upscale place and have a fun weekend, Like i said this will top any party we every had and look to keep it going there for years to come.
thanks for all those who do get it and thanks to jack for having a party the last 5 years which have been very good and growen each year but also you can thank jack for the extra money spent, he told me do what you need and i have, and he did not pass on cost to you he always ate extra cost, and he does not make a dime off of these. you will miss out on a party unlike many will never go to at this one at GVR. it will be a great time and like i said they catier to the A list of out of town guest so we should feel lucky.

Will let you all know what i come up with for fri night to try and suit all people, sat night most people go out on the town and sunday is the party which will be off the wall this year, it will be like being at a party for the rich or a privite after hours concert party held by the band or preformer where it is invite only, trust me you will love this place and enjoy the treatment you get at GVR. it is a very nice 3 day get away.
Will see you there won't have a problem filling the spots, so if you don't have something good to say just stay out of party thread and do what you want on your own, the others who do show up which will be many you will have a great time as always, and might even win some money right Goat
