Well i have been browsing over last few weeks but not really saying much as you can imagine I have had many things on my mind lately. I was scheduled to leave on Sept. 12 th but was given a 30 day extension as I had several problems trying to get all things done before my departure since I live alone. But I will have all of this taken care of this week and I will be departing on Sept. 26th. I am only taking 14 days so that I can come home sooner. I should be in Iraq by November. So I will pass e-mails along as much as possible.
I wish I could put into words what this experience has been but I cannot. But I want to personally thank each and everyone of you for all the support it truly means so much. Thank you all!
A BIG Thanks goes to Jack also. I wish you and your family the best upon your move to Indiana. It is one of the greatest places to live for sure. I think you will enjoy calling Indiana home.
I want to also thank someone who has to have one of the biggest hearts around. Eric (Fletcher). Our e-mails and phone converstaions meant so much. I and my family thank both you and Jeri. I wish we had more people in this world like you two. It would truly be a better place for sure. Thanks Fletch!
So this will be my last post until I return and I wish all the best in the years to come. Take care of your family and loved ones. Tell them that you love them as often as possible. Give them a hug just because you can. But most of all make them smile. You would be amazed what a smile can do for those who see it so rarely.
With that being said I leave you all with a big ole
. This is still the greatest nation on the face of the earth. Never forget that.
I have one request though On Nov 11th go out and show the Veterans of this country that we still care and are honored by thier sacrifices. They seemed to have been forgotten by some.
