yes it was a tough decision, but after a few weeks and talking with friends i have decided to do this.
i was asked by a certain individual who has followed me the last few years to join as one (wont mention any names right now) but after talking with some good friends of mine,i am indeed going to give it a shot.
madjacks is and always will be like home, best forum on the net bar-none, but with all my work over the years in sports handicapping i think i will do just fine.

just want to say thanks for all the kind words from alot of you guys and special thanks to jack and i.e. for making this site so great

now i know the bashers will come in,but nothing i can do as i have already made my mind up

i will stop in from time to time

Why not just go pay and not say anything? Like fade away into the sunset? Unless you plan on having kids from this site contact you and this is a form of self-promotion.
This is one reason I frequent the handicappers section less and less, maybe on gameday or maybe not. Too many self-promoters, less and less reasoning or discussion.

And it's not directed at you alone, jmize, but in a way I really don't care anymore who goes pay or not. It seems like 50% of people who post regularly (winners or not) are going, or have tried to go pay. That tells me there must be a good market out there for it. Best of luck. maybe we'll see yoou again in 6 months or so :)

Excuse this rant coming up but....There are tons of people in this forum who think they are great cappers and there are some who are very good....but do you realize how hard it will be to make a service profitable--hey I am all for anyone starting there own business etc but if you are doing so well capping why not just continue to Cap?

No offense but I bet if I went through all your threads I bet you are not over 50% and I would wager a larger bet that you are not over the elusive 53% that you need to make a profit.....Listen I am really not trying to put down a fellow WNY'er but do yourself a favor I have had two people I know personally get into Pay Service/ pick phones and it was a complete failure....

Stick around here give/get good advice from the many good cappers-and I said good-and have some fun-trust me others would give you the same advice -ie Fletcher etc---I am not speaking for him but i have seen him give this advice before!

This is definitely the most surprising yet funniest post of the day.

I never thought of jmize and his "hot sides" ever being in the class of Fletcher and others who have been good enough to go pay.
