not sure what to think of this book.

their lines are incredible -- its refreshing to see a book not mirror olympic/pinnacle with every line and every total. some very good dog prices at this book. and lines/totals and 2h lines/totals on every game. their #s are often as much as 1-1.5 pts different on some games.

unfortunately, their customer service is garbage and, franky, very unknowledgeable about their own book. and their payout system seems ass-backward.

does anyone play here consistently? any problems or hassles with payouts? im going to cash some money out and dont want a headache. and i dont know if i should keep any money in the account.

have a feeling this could be a really good book for basketball season. i suppose i can deal with their 'retardedness' and shitty customer service so long as i get paid with no problem.

two other questions:

wasnt this betcom.com book formerly grand central?

and on an unrelated note, is bet19 affiliated with vipsports? their book (bet19) looks pretty good, but i was very unsatisfied with vip over the last half year. is bet19 reliable?

Just a heads up on Betcom -- I dealt with them for football last year and generally had no complaints, and the payouts were prompt, but once NCAA hoops rolled around I got frustrated and cashed out. You are right the lines are soft at times, but what good does a soft line do you if they aren't posted until around 3pm est on a weekday? The lines come out so late some days I ended up having my action booked elsewhere before I even got to see what lines they offered.

Just my 2 cents.

Gman,

I really liked bet19, great lines, great bonuses, and bonus on losses at end of month. Didn't deal much with their customer service but never had much of a problem making a withdrawal. I did not like their constant line movement on some teams but all books do that when their is a heavy amount of cash on one side. However, it has been my favorite bookl to deal with to date.

betcom formerly grand central who had problems 3 years ago and turned everything around instead of running like some other books did. they are on top of the world right now and growing in leaps and bounds. great book for dog bettors. they also own parlaybook and mybookie. if you ever have any problem with payouts, let me know and i'll help. your shouldn't need help but i'm here if you do. i have a close relationship with the owners.

i also have a great relationship with bet19 owned by gameday and vip. if you ever have a problem, let me know.

sometimes with the larger books you'll get a customer service rep that sucks. i can get you in touch with the right contacts.

all these books are good for the dog bettor and recreational player. they do not want steam players and will run you off if you try.

contrary to what some have said about these books, people that 'think' they know everything but don't know shit, these books don't boot winners and take big action as well. i know many players that bet dimes at these books and beat these books regularly. just don't play steam and you'll be okay.

betcom is hosting our superbowl party this year and a small $500 deposit gets you a $200 ticket for the party PLUS all the other regular bonuses. see the superbowl party thread at the top of this forum.
