Question.... if I qualify for the next step, I can play in that next step whenever I feel like it... or do you have to play in a specific tourney?

Well I signed up and have played step one twice. Lost with nut Str8 to flush on river and QQ against K6?? He made trip 6s. Dumb. But I have to say if you guys play only here you should consider other sites. This has to be the worst site out there. Looks stupid, not laid out well, bad graphics you name it. Its like going back and playing Atari vs Xbox in my opinion.

yea, she had a tough beat right off the bat. she was dealt KK and called a re-raised pot. flop came 9 10 J, guy bets all in, she calls and he had a straight. what's a woman to do. LOL

ALso like why doesnt it take me to my seat when the tourney starts?? It should be automatic. And you cant see how many chips everyone else has like a leaderboard type deal. And why arent their any black characters at the tables? Are they racist??

yeah, u really have to be careful at party. As soon as u register for a tourney, also open the tournament lobby. I don't know how many times lately I'll register and it won't seat me. Many times u have to click "take seat" yourself and sometimes that doesn't even work, and you have to click "watch table" before it will finally go to that table. There's an error in the software I guess. This also happens a lot more when u have more than 1 tourney going. Sometimes I'll be playing and then register for another tourney. I'll get involved in my game and wonder when the the other tourney will ever get started and then realize the stupid program hasn't seated me and is focking folding my hands! Be careful.

step 4 is easiest, imo, because the top 8 finishers advance and you aren't playing with a bunch of chasers. wareagle, it fits your playing style a lot better. getting to step 4 is the hardest and i was knocked out early the 2 times i was in step 5 so i don't really have an opinion of the play at that level.

good luck

Jack you prick what have you gotten me into?? :cursin: I have tried step 1 5 times now. Latest beat was 88 preflop raised and got it heads up. Flop is 678 I move all in for 1300 and get called by a 10J. 9 on the turn gives him a str8. :cursin: This Party Poker is something else. I would have been better off buying right into step 2 I guess.

you've had some tough breaks. i prefer to buyin straight to step 2 just to save time but you would think it would be cheaper to start at step 1 because you should be able to advance without trying 5 times. LOL

11pm last night i registered for the $50 buyin multi at party. there were something like 780 players. 4.5 hours later i was the first one out at the final table. finished 10th and only got $390. 1st paid $8500 and 2nd $5000. ugh.

i guess i was tired. i had $34,000 and A7 of clubs on the button. everybody folds to me. blinds are 3000/6000 so i figured i had a shot of picking up the blinds and went all in. dumb ass move. SB called with A9 and BB called with AA. there went the shot of 5 dimes plus. dammit.

i'll be back there toinight.
