Just was reading the weather site and they re calling for a storm of a lifetime by this weekend. From what I read there are 3 major storms that are going to occur all at once and at some point they are going to meet and produce possible violent winter tornadoes.

Noticed a article about it at Drudge's site. Most rain we have had in about 10 years around here.

Jack,

Ohio.com (Akron Beacon Journal) in todays paper it's their headline "Storm of a Lifetime" in a nutshell we have one storm coming from Hawaii that will hit the west coast and southwest producing floods, torrential rains and possible landslides. The second storm is coming from NW Canada and going SE producing large amounts of snow and ice with freezing temps. The last storm is coming from texas and flowing NE it is estimated that it will hit the Ohio valleys the hardest in particular the areas where Ohio, Ind and Tucky come together and should produce large floods and possible snow depending on the temp. The major concern is if these storms all come together it will result in a mess the map in the Beacon Journal had a diagram of the storms clashing in the upper midwest.

We're getting hit in the Milwaukee area all night. Could get up to 10 more inches by tomorrow morning according to the radio about a half hour ago.

I don't know what the weather is gonna do, but I am sure it is gonna get a hell of al ot worse.. Here in indy one of the worst rain storms I have ever seen, if it was colder w/would easily have 2 feet of snow right now.. Temps are dropping and saying for freezing rain and ice, would much rather have the snow... ugghhh

you darn southerners should move north to minneapolis area where we don't seem to get snow any more.....LOL

i got the heck away from my dads house in iowa just in time it seems.

right now, we have a 104 year old record broken for least amount of snow by a given date... they say we've had 2.8 inches this season, but they must be piling up all the snowflakes in a 2square foot area to come up with a total that high :)

Finally stopped snowing here sometime last night, Mama...

Think the total is somewhere around 8-10 inches.

Couldn't believe when I called the airport in Atlanta yesterday afternoon to inquire about my flight home that it was a go. Thats the beauty of the non-stop service from Atlanta to Moline-- AirTran rocks-- had I had to connect in Chicago, I would probably still be on the ground in Atlanta...
The roads were so bad last night that it took us almost as long to drive the 15 miles home from the airport than it did to fly from Atlanta.....

I worked last night in the pouring rain hanging on the side of railroad cars. I was wearing rain gear and still ended up soaked to the bone. I stepped in a puddle and the mud came up over my ankles. When I came into the yard office this morning, the janitor was told to follow behind me with a mop. When I got home, my wife told me to throw my clothes in the trash. I'm typing now, but really should go to the hospital 'cause I think I have pneumonia.

Just got out of a tree. Spit snow the last 2 hours of daylight and kept getting colder and windier. I also saw 0 deer. Looks like we're just going to miss the snow tomorrow with temps in the low 40s.
