About 5 years ago I had a falling out with mother and we didn't speak to each other for 3 months. We had since patched everything up and talked like we always did. Well after having a stroke back in March and fighting Lupus she finally lost the battle and passed away on sat. I was at her bedside. I don't know anybody personally here but as someone posted before that all the time you spend at this great site makes the names on the screen seem like family. I just wanted all the posters here to think about the next time you get into an argument or say something bad to a loved one remember nobody lives forever. And you should treat every second as precious because once they are gone-THEY ARE GONE. Don't have any regrets. I wish I could go back and get those 3 months back. So just remember that a problem can be solved no matter what but the only time it can't be solved is when they are gone.

JC thoughts are with you and your family in these hard times, I went through it a little over 2 years ago, and have told others this. She will always be with you 24/7 and yes it is ok to talk to her, and she is in a better place pain free and happy. Us who grive which we all do is due to wanting to hang on, but our loved ones are happy and in a good place, don't care what others say. Does it hurt hell yes and will for awhile, but that is our inner soul hurting for one we loved not one who went on to a better life where there is no end. Hang in there and it is ok to not feel ok, forget the 3 months your mom has, she will always be your mom, don't beat yourself up, she is in who i choose to call gods hands as my higher power.

Hang in there and think of good times not the off times.

Eric

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers. To say I appreciate it over a screen doesn't do it justice but I really appreciate the replies.

Take care
