Hello,

New to this board and I just want to tell you a stupid story that happend just the past hour or so.

My Balance got down to 500, when I originally started with 700, then FOR SOME STRANGEEEEEEEEEEEEE reason my balance went up to 850--thats 350 dollars out of no where??!?!??!

Can a sportsbook actually make a mistake like that? What happens if they find out??

Okay well lets talk baseball, with this additional 350, I was pretty darn excited so I decided to bet on any baseball team (I just started baaseball about a year ago, still sorta new). So I wanted to pick the Angles for 300, but instead checked the Texas checkbox instead!!!!!!!

So now I'm betting on Texas +130, does anyone know if I have a chance or not? I just have a feeling I lost NOOOOO matter what. I can't see Anaheim losing two straight at home especially with allowing a comeback yesterday night to Texas.

hey, ahh lol it wasn't with MLB though. i was betting during the NBA halftimes, and 1st half lines ...then out of no where it added 350 to my account.

after I went to talk to a cus. service rep and i made some story up like "why is my balance showing only 800 when it should be 850?" then they replied saying we have your balance as 850.

Angels 2-0 great :)

the chances are excellent that they'll find out, if there was a mistake.

you will know as soon as your balance changes back.

they might not find out but the right thing to do is tell them. suppose the mistake was the other way around. would you want it corrected?

simple game :D

Ahh, k.

Most likely they'll find out then. I'm 100% sure its a mistake, I checked my pending wagers and everything and no signs of me winning 350 out of no where.

I guess I should of never gotten to exicted and bet 300 on the Rangers. I would of done a simple bet of 100 for fun if anything , but when I saw the extra 350 I said why not lets do 300. :)

whataya do?

1) go into a liquor store to buy a 12-pack, give them $20 and they give you change for $100. you keep it?

2) cash a check at the bank for $100 and they give you $1000. you keep it?

3) you change $100 with you best friend. he gives you six 20's in error. you keep it?

what's the difference?

no disrespect to anybody, but i don't play that.

what goes around, comes around.

woot toot Texas...lets hope it keeps lookin good.

MadJack, I understand where youre coming from.

I'm not the type that would rip off a friend. But since this is a SportsBook which makes thousands dollars of profits for such a easy service, then I don't mind taking the 350 to tell you the truth :)

But if its from someone I respect or a situation where I really wouldn't want it to happen to me, then I wouldn't. For example, about a year ago I found a wallet with credit cards and cash left on a gas terminal at a local gas station. I could of kept the wallet and keep the cash but I decided to contact the person instead to return it. My highschool senior year, my law and finance teacher handed me 20 dollars back when she was only suppose to hand me 10 dollars, I told her right away and returned her money back.

Again, in this situation, I rather not confess to the mistake to the sportsbook....if they find out then they find out.

:iagree: :yup :iagree:

What goes around comes around is right. Do you feel like being a cheat? It will come back and bite you in the ass.

I'll be the first to tell you I don't always agree with sportsbook policies and some of their BS, but if you play fair with them and play HONEST they will try to treat you right.

It's just like someone giving you the wrong change for a $100 like 4 20's instead of 5. Or a better exaple might be you cash a $5000 check at the bank and the bank gives you 5 $100 bills :wtf: :soapbox: :wtf: How would that make you feel?

What goes around comes around is right....
