all of a sudden my mouse doesn't display text when i put the cursor over an image or whatever. know what i mean?

like reading parts of a post from the forum thread list.

anybody know why that might be? i rebooted, checked my mouse settings in control panel, checked internet tools settings. not sure what's going on.

Sometimes if you take the ball out, alcohol clean and q-tip clean the inside it may work

This is because the page you are viewing is not using the ALT tag on the images. This is for when people don't have images turned on they can put a description in there saying click here for a millioin dollars (which is what the image displays if they were viewing)

So in short, this is nothing wrong with your pc

thanks, bsu, but there was something wrong and i did a system restore to correct the problem.

when you are viewing the threads you can put your cursor over the thread and read a few lines of the post inside. i wasn't able to do that anymore but it's okay now.
