agree Miami pulls a W, not so sure of the line. have em in the series, so wouldn't bet this game line. Lines have been tight all playoffs.
assume you may be addressing me as i wrote something disparaging about rasheed. perhaps i pulled a name out of my ass and didn't mean so much rasheed as the players today. games are altered in the nba(fact). i think you are right that he does get flustered with the refs for knowing he or his team are gonna be on the wrong side of the set-up for the evening.
this isn't an nba games are fixed rant, nor is it confirmation of what many of us know and few of us choose to accept(costing us money in the long run).
I do however think that the NBA player in general today (not going to single out Rasheed) cares much much less about the game than they did 15 years ago. the heart isn't there. maybe rasheed does really care, and if he does he's one of the few. too many players cash their check and go home. i whole heartedly think in the play-offs every player goes on the court with the desire to win. what i think has changed is how the game affects players. i think if Jordan or Magic lost a game they would dwell on it for days to come. Nowadays I think players brush it off and head to the paycheck window. I don't think they let the game take over their lives which made previous players so much better. Not going to single out players and sorry for ranting in your thread. I just think the game had players with much more desire and heart than it does now as a whole and in general. of course there are exceptions.
