Well I finally got one right last night with SA. I didn't post it but it don't matter. That's either 1-3 or 1-4. That's how much attention I'm giving to the NBA right now. The line have been very strong this year and tonight is no different. I believe that Mia wins but by 5? Not too sure of that but if they win the 184 isn't enough. Det has to keep the game at a slow pace to have a chance but in Mia I don't think they can do it. I also think the NBA would like to see a SA/Mia matchup which doesn't mean that Mia pulls the line, it just means that they win. Based solely on this I will risk a little on the over. Going with

Mia o 184

Good luck everyone

I been meaning to address this before and I guess this is as good a time as any.

Some of you think Rascheed is an idiot. Let me explain something. Granted he gets a lot of T's but what gets him the T's. How many fights has he got in? How many hard fouls has got him a T? Now I haven't seen every game he has played but the ones I have seen were because he argued with the refs. He goes out every night and plays to win. He has always given 100% in the games I've seen. He knows when the refs are helping the other team and he can't stand it. He's different from the other players who have learned to keep their mouth shut. I remember when Horry, after a loss in the play-offs was asked about the refs. His answer was "I know what would happen to me if I answered that question". Getting back to Rascheed. If everyone played with the desire to win as this guy, most of you would have a little more money in your pocket. By the way, he's not even close to my fav player but don't fault him for wanting to win. Good luck tonight.

agree Miami pulls a W, not so sure of the line. have em in the series, so wouldn't bet this game line. Lines have been tight all playoffs.

assume you may be addressing me as i wrote something disparaging about rasheed. perhaps i pulled a name out of my ass and didn't mean so much rasheed as the players today. games are altered in the nba(fact). i think you are right that he does get flustered with the refs for knowing he or his team are gonna be on the wrong side of the set-up for the evening.

this isn't an nba games are fixed rant, nor is it confirmation of what many of us know and few of us choose to accept(costing us money in the long run).

I do however think that the NBA player in general today (not going to single out Rasheed) cares much much less about the game than they did 15 years ago. the heart isn't there. maybe rasheed does really care, and if he does he's one of the few. too many players cash their check and go home. i whole heartedly think in the play-offs every player goes on the court with the desire to win. what i think has changed is how the game affects players. i think if Jordan or Magic lost a game they would dwell on it for days to come. Nowadays I think players brush it off and head to the paycheck window. I don't think they let the game take over their lives which made previous players so much better. Not going to single out players and sorry for ranting in your thread. I just think the game had players with much more desire and heart than it does now as a whole and in general. of course there are exceptions.

Rasheed is one it really gets to, to a fault. I agree that most players today don't take it as seriously as the ones in the past. Especially the so called super-stars. There's always next year except the Molones, Barkleys, Stocktons and Ewings know there isn't.
