Don't even worry about it. Doc's always too busy patting himself on the back, to shake anyone else's hand. I'm pretty sure that if you are accurate enough to score that low, even on a short course, you can play well on a longer track.

Think about this fellas:

Place a ball 100 yards out on every hole on any course you normally play. Now, in 18 holes, go ahead an get "up and down" 40% of the time.

actually i have put up a 64 on a 6500 yard course one off the course record with a course record 29 on the back since you asked

Or if not convenient and you think distance is the key I'll meet you in your town and give you all day to shoot 7 under on any local putt- putt course if you make it worth my while

any score under par on any course should prompt respect, but to be honest i have never seen nor heard of a 5400 course outside of an executive par 3 joint...that was what we were talking about and its funny how people get all wound up by reading into things like that

The problem may be finding enough money to temp one on Dr's salary--however would be worth $500 for me to see you do it--and maybe you can pick up some extra on side bet between us

Do note though that I have to have some verification that it is you--been around too long to fall for the ringer angle

P.S. since you are "+ handicap" and course is "so short" I will up the anti to a $1,000 vs your $500 if you want to move the # to par--

DTB- It's not like I've ever seen him play or know anything about his game, but I can verify that he won a tournament just outside of Pierre, SD, in summer 2003. So he's gotta be at least a decent player. Granted, we're talking South Dakotans, but a win is still a win.
