if i can hang, IE will post my current position throughout the day in this thread.

we have about an hour left in round 8. blinds are $300/$600 with a $75 ante.

i have $10,275 so i can last about 9 rounds. i'm hoping to win 2-3 hands the first hour to get me into the comfort zone. average chips is around $30k so i'm still alive with a chance. that's all i asked for.

i need some luck so concentrate for me to get some decent cards to play with.

around 3pm eastern everybody start saying
"give madjack cards, give madjacks cards, give madjack cards"

maybe that'll work

if i get seated with any notables, IE will post that before play begins.

having a blast, nervous as hell and it's a freaking madhouse at the poker room. takes about 30 minutes to take a leak, god forbid you have to dump and they only give a 20 minute break so i drink nothing, not even water. forget about eating anything at dinner break and the cab line to get back here at 3-4 in the morning is ridiculous. i just hope i hang in there all day to enjoy all the inconveniences

Jack, are the bathrooms as bad as theyve been saying? During some of the preliminary events and the second chance tourneys, we ended up walking all the way back to the main casino. For those that havent seen the convention center there or read about it. A roundtrip walk to take a leak could easily be 20-30 minutes. Tough when they only give you a 20 minute break. We started leaving 10 minutes prior to the actual breaks to make sure we could get back in time.
