I looked quickly but couldn't find the story anywhere. It may actually be an old story but I just heard it on the radio today and I believe they were talking about a soldier local to Pittsburgh.
He is in Iraq and is a medic when he got ambushed and shot, his body armour saved his life, after picking himself up he found the enemy and returned fire wounding him. Once he saw the enemy fall to the ground his medic instincts kicked in and he went and performed first aid on the guy to save his life! This was caught on tape as the terrorists were laying in wait for someone to attack and were filming it, I assume to recruit more terrorists.
My hats off to the guy for respecting life that much, but I have to say if it were me all that would be on that tape is me emptying the rest of my clip in his dying ass.
