Any experienced travelers out there?

I need to purchase a couple of airline tickets going from Arlington, Texas to Santa Ana, California. I plan to be there Thursday, July 28 for five days. What's the best way to purchase airline tickets? Just a couple of weeks ago, a roundtrip ticket was only $218. The current roundtrip airfare from Travelocity is $368. Places like Orbitz are offering basically the same price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SNA (Orange Cty. Airport) is a very expensive airport. There is curfew on takeoffs and landings. There is hardly any great deals into SNA. If you want to look into Ontario, you may find better prices---rent a car to get to Santa Ana....about a 30-40 min. drive if there is no traffic.

Los Coyotes C.C is a great golf course....you'll love it. Numbers 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all par 4's and if you play from tips, will kick your a**. If you're playing in a tourney, they will probably use the whites, but it's still plenty of course.

Good Luck on your tickets and enjoy your stay....

PS. Maybe try Jetblue from Dallas to Long Beach. New, clean planes and cheap fares. L.B is a short drive to Orange County.

I couldn't find any links to help. The pic you have is the 1st tee....par 5 uphill second shot.

Hard to believe, in this day and age, they don't have a web site.

Course has 27 holes, with the Valley/Vista being the most testing. The Lake nine is a little easier.

Once again, check Jetblue airlines for deals to Long Beach....it's not far and the fares will be cheaper.

Woke up this morning. Googled to JetBlue. They don't offer flights out of DFW. :(

Try www.priceline.com - they will give you the going rate or you can "bid" on what you are willing to pay. Sometimes they accept, sometimes the deny, and sometimes they counter offer. ***Note that the tickets are non refundable, no changes can be made, and you do not know the times of depart until you accept the amount.

Also, www.hotwire.com - also pretty much the same as Priceline, except occasionally they will have a "special" low fare, but again you do not know the times.

Good luck!
