bases,

it's funny that my wife has had a camry & altima & she liked them both....

another car that my wife liked was the rav-4 by toyota.

i don't think that you can go wrong with either car.

I have owned 1 toyota (camry), 3 hondas (2 accords and crx;)), and currently own 2 nissans (maxima and Inifinit Q45). My opinion is that Toyota is the best of breed for most of the categories.

See as you are in Toronto I would go with the smaller suvs that are out there-those other cars are too small for the winter snow conditions you drive in......

Definitely a Honda or Toyota. If you get it from the dealer make sure you get one from the certified used program. They're thoroughly inspected and come with really good warranties. The cert. used Hondas have a better powertrain warranty than the new Hondas do for some reason.

The certified program is only as good as the dealer it comes from. ;) You should always have a technician you trust look over a used car before purchasing it.

Honda Accord is what my wife drove 10 yrs ago and she loved it. Drove smooth and was great on MPG.
