Listen up. This is the off-season. Football is still a month away and teams have not even started fall practice yet. There are 30 threads in the college football forum. Only 7 threads have been active in the last 3 days. That means there are 23 inactive threads. Go post something that interests you.

This is a CFB forum where CFB is being talked about in this thread. If you are not interested with the subject in this thread, IGNORE IT! Go post in a thread that interests you. I have no idea why you think people care about your opinion about other posters. What are you contributing to this thread? Trying to make it into a soap opera? Grow up.

Just like college hoops - playing #60 is just as automatic a W as #90 - it is ridiculous to act is if one is a better win than the other, or that it indicates strong scheduling.

I think most people would agree it is more difficult to beat the #60 ranked team vs the #90 ranked team. You seem to forget that playing a lesser opponent allows starters to rest more. I am sure it is easier to blow out a #90 ranked team vs #60 ranked team. Your argument that team A should get wins over #60 and #90 doesn't make sense.

For starters they weren?t all listed - like Oregon v Houston, which apparently is a questionable game per the sage gjn. Could add plenty of games to both lists lists.

Then make your own list instead of just sitting behind your computer tearing apart gjn's list. Nobody said the Pac 10 doesn't play easy OOC opponents. But I think it is safe to say that the SEC plays a much easier OOC schedule vs the Pac 10. No denying that.

And considering one conference has 2 more teams, I would expect it to have a few more shit games.

SEC plays 6 more OOC games.

What real non-conf games are there this year? Texas-Ohio State. Florida-Florida State. I guess Oklahoma-UCLA if the Bruins are anything. Arizona State-LSU. USC-Ark, except Ark has something like 3 returning starters. Probably a handful more, but that's about it.

You only focus on OOC matchups of elite teams. That is not the argument.

Of course those Pac 10 games are at home.

Take a look at how many OOC games the Pac 10 plays on the road. Good luck finding how many away OOC games the SEC plays. MUCH MUCH easier to win at home vs on the road. I don't care who you play. If team A is better than team B, I rather play team A at home vs playing team B on road.

Again, if you dislike the subject material in this thread, or the posters, or some combination of both, do not participate in this thread. There are 7 other active threads in this forum and 23 inactive threads. Don't feel obligated to give your opinion about the posters in a thread. Nobody cares. At least I don't. Talk CFB, not about posters.

So. Cal
i listed teams that are NOT in BCS conferences or from generally decent conf (mac. mwc, etc...)...scheduling an ooc game from a bcs school has it's merit, if that team sucks it's not the scheduling teams fault.

sec teams, on average, schedule much less ooc bcs games, most are at home, they lose most when they travel.

that is a fact!

sorry i missed houston

Of all people you would know Kosar. Should I copy and paste that political thread for you again? Where I took every quote/argument from you and proved it wrong! Every single quote and argument. What a masterpiece!

Please. You got trounced in that 'debate' just as you do on every sports related topic.

Hint: just because a post has a lot of different colors and emoticons does not make them more factual.

I got trounced in that debate? :wtf:

Lets see who got trounced. I don't have to say it, I can show it! :lol2

Thread: Reasons to Vote 4 Bush and the MAJOR ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to post #78!!!!! :scared

Link to thread......

CASE CLOSED!

just as you do on every sports related topic.

How do I get trounced in every sports related topic when I support my opinion with facts? Is that even possible? :mj03: Posters should support their opinion with more objective data instead of relying on subjective opinion. Facts make an argument stronger!

Hint: just because a post has a lot of different colors and emoticons does not make them more factual.

Then focus your attention on the written material instead of the icons. :mj07:

HAVE A GOOD DAY KOSAR! :)

Scott,

You better check how many starters Arkansas has returning this year.

7 on offense
8 on defense

Not saying they have much of a chance, but they will be very tempting to take for the 1st half of the Southern Cal game, especially given the coaching changes and Southern Cal's propensity to lag in the first half

Oh I am very aware of Arky and their experienced team but thanks for informing me. If USC is favored by 20+ pts, I think ARKY might be a good wager. You are right Arky can at least hang with USC in 1h. USC usually separates themselves in the 2nd half with their conditioning/talent. I really would like Arky's chances if USC didn't play Hawaii first. For Arky to flirt with an upset, they need to run the ball effectively. I have not handicapped this game or looked at their team, but if they have strong OL and RB's, they might be able to take advantage of the USC inexperienced DT's and inexperienced LB's. Keep that USC offense off the field. Arky has never played a team close to USC's offensive firepower and complicated system. If completely confused OU because they never played a team like USC in the Big 12. Glad USC is playing Arky and not a team like LA MONROE. Should be a fun game and they better not ruin my season with an upset! USC better not take Arky lightly, but it being a home game for USC and USC having the nations longest home winning streak, might be too much for Arky. 85k plus USC gets now for home games.

Too bad Arky doesn't have that QB back. Then it would be a VERY EXCITING GAME!!!!!

When your conference is as strong as the sec you need a so called breather team here and there in the schedule. When your in the Pac 10 you have a breather every week except maybe one or two weeks out of 11!! Scott your about as..... as they come!!!
