Well the loose ends have been tied. Living expenses paid up for 6 months. Most of you know that Clem D is a figment of my imagination. He is my 50 year old Italian Alter Ego. Don't worry the adventures of him and the Seahag will still show up during football season. Anyway this adventure is going to be told from my point of view. I just recently lost 135lbs in Divorce Court. I'm feeling lean and mean, and I think Im being given an oppurtunity that any 33 year old would dream of. Especially one like me who was bred to be a gambler.
My bankroll for this endeavor is exactly 50k. I took the extra 1 grand and decided to kick this off in grand form. So the car is packed and pointed for Saratoga. I will leave at about 5am tomorrow and arrive in time for a couple drinks before post time. If you are going to be in the neighborhood shoot me an email. Drinks on me. The party starts tomorrow at 1pm at the Spa. See you then.

Good Luck Clem...

Check out the third race at Saratoga tomorrow, as horse number 5 (Southern Joy) is stepping down in class in this race. I made a bundle on this horse a few months ago on a simulcast from Mountaineer.

Bump. ?? Clem, did you blow the bankroll at the track already?

I heard he went for a walk on the beach and was eaten by a seal :mj07:

If I had some advice, it would be to avoid the vig as much as possible. Line shop, like you've never done before. Look into rebate shops for the ponies. Being non-chalant about the difference between -110 and -107 could very well mean the difference between success and failure. When you start pumping tens of thousands of dollars through the windows a week, a couple of cents is huge.

Clem- some friendly advice, if you roll is only 50k-I would not be betting dimes on August baseball games...IMO only....you said sports wagering is only a small part of your angle to win $$ well a dime is 2% of your roll--pretty large wager....GL2U I am rooting for you......If I can help let me know.......
