Always look deep into your plays man, but I dont see that Va Tech / Ga Tech. Gotta say the under 40 is looking good.

Really like the Air Force play too, but I haven't followed them this year like I have in the past, so I will lay off.

It is nice to see so many Pac 10 schools ranked. It seems Pac 10 always has to earn their top 25 rankings while teams from other conf. are ALWAYS rated too high. Unfortunately it brings up the BS that other conf. are superior to the Pac 10.

I think the big reason Pac 10 has so many teams ranked is Pete Carroll. Imagine how tough the Pac 10 would be if Washington becomes the Washington of old! :scared If USC didn't have Leinart, I give 5 teams in the Pac 10 solid chances in beating USC. Sucks for the rest of the Pac 10 Leinart returned.

Thanks Dice34 I certainly hope this is the week! 2 losing weeks in a row for me :( but still ahead big $$$ for the year! :) I will have my BIG 10 GOY this weekend. But I am going to wait it out and hope the line keeps going my way! Watch out for it!

I like V-Tech whether QB Ball plays or not. If he doesn't play, I like the play even more. But I am not playing V-Tech because I am hoping Ball doesn't play. V-Tech has HUGE coaching advantage in this game. I'll do write-up after I finish capping the rest of the card! Maybe I'll convince you! BTW AF is always $$$ on the road!

I, too, will be paying close attention to your plays. After all, good fade material is hard to come by ;)

I expect a strong outing out of GT this weekend. Often times a team will come together(normally for 1 game) after losing a vital member of the team. Ball out with Viral Meninjitis fits the bill.

GL with your plays.

Right now, I think vegas should have USC -10.

One plus for USC. Oregon has not played USC in 2 years. 3 years ago USC went to Oregon and kicked their a$$. Now why is this important? While the rest of the Pac 10 knows what talent USC is bringing to the game, Oregon has no clue.
..................................................................................

I see this line at Oly as Oregon +21

If your theory is correct the play would be Oregon.

It seems simple enough.

I don't know. I have not seen any Stanford games this year and not even a highlight clip. Basically I know very little about them. I think they shoud have a good offense with a below average D but maybe they took 1aa school too lightly. I dunno. Horrible loss! I wonder how many div. 1a teams lost to 1aa teams a year? I think Kansas last year lost to 1aa.

Ball is officially ruled out? That was not a big factor in me taking V-Tech but rather a BIG BONUS!

You do bring up good point that teams ralley when star player gets injured. V-Tech I think is a really good team that is coached very well. I am not a big fan of G-Tech coach.

What you read was my "initial" opinion. If you go back to that thread, I posted I now lean to USC after handicapping the game. But I prob. won't make USC a play. However I will post a write-up on what I capped.

1AA teams are usually good for 3-5 upsets a year against 1A teams. The lines are usually so out of whack it is ridiculous.

I agree with your play on Air Force as I got on them +9. I didn't play a side in the VT-GT game but did play the under.

Adding 4 units Idaho -2.5 over Hawaii (betcris)

*I put this bet in Monday morning and forgot to post it. Lined open -3 so i grabbed it immediately at -2.5. Unfortunately, I got -2.5 while it is now -2 everywhere. Hopefully that is a non factor!

Scott,

I have a question for ya regarding your team. It really has nothing to do with the gambling. However there is money involved for my sake.

I'm in a college football fantasy league. 1st time ever, fun as hell. But my question is, I have Kellen Clemens(Ore) as my starting QB. With Drew Stanton(Mich ST.) and Hagans(UVA) as backups. How are the Trojans in the secondary? With Oregon's new spread attack and them being down alot(i'm assuming), that he will just keep passing and be able to rack up some yards. What is your take?

Thanks alot, sorry for messing up your thread

This Hawaii/Idaho is a tricky game, in that Idaho is still an undervalued team and Hawaii has a dubious road record of late.

I may be overestimating Hawaii's gumption but I think they can notch the victory in this instance...tho it won't be easy.

This could be a 4 hr. game as I think both team will be very productive via the air.

gl on the AFA game tho

:)

USC lost their #1 DB prior to season and just lost their 3rd best DB last game.

Oregon has one of the most talented WR corps in the country. They run spread offense so USC will be playing freshman at DB and he will be picked on!

Carroll will play his usual philosophy. STOP THE RUN and DON'T GIVE UP BIG PLAYS. This works well against Ducks because they can only score on big plays but have tough time scoring on drives. Carroll will force Oregon to drive the ball down the field. This means BIG YARDS FOR CLEMONS who is a great QB. Might not mean a lot of TD's, but he def. will get huge passing yards!

One last thing. 3 years ago USC played @Oregon and smoked them. In the 4th Carroll brought in 2nd and 3rd stringers on D and Oregon kept 1st stringers in on O and moved the ball easily and scored. If USC blows them out, and Carroll subs the backups, there is no doubt in my mind Oregon with 1st string O will EASILY score on USC's 2nd and 3rd string D. Guaranteed pts and stats! So your best bet is USC blowing out Oregon and Oregon putting up pts/stats against USC 1st string D and then easily putting up great pts/stats against 2nd string USC D. Could be huge day #'s wise for Oregon offense.

I feel you should rethink your play on Idaho. Trust me, hawaii is definately getting a lot better than from the team you saw play USC and Michigan St. Hawaii RB Cox finally go cleared to play after the damn NCAA messed up his transcripts. Although he is only a freshman, he is going to be really good after its all said and done. He definately has the genes in being Jamal Andersen's cousin and runs like him too according to teammates and coaches. This will allow Nate Ilaoa to move to his original position of SB instead of RB. Hawaii's defense will also be better as they are still learning Glanville's schemes and had a weak off to prepare. Meanwhile the week off gave QB Brennan time to recover from a nagging shoulder injury and he will be ready to go come saturday. FYI Brennan is looking sharp in practice going 14-19 for 259 yards and no INTs, with 3 incompletions being dropped passes in 7-7 drills. and 7-10 for 77 yards in 11-11 drills and that is when whe was "holding back a little" being that he does wants to be 100% come game time. Point being Brennan will not turn over the ball, I feel Idaho QB will at least throw one INTas he threw 2 versus a sub par Washington D and the Idaho Offense could not even score. Trust me, take your play out at least, if not go the other way. I was with you on the USC-Hawaii game in picking USC, but I also played Hawaii 2 weeks ago vs Michigan State when everyone said that Michigan State was going to blow them away and didn't cover. I saw both games and felt very optimistic that hawaii has a bright future in store for them, at least against the mostly weak Wac competition. Hawaii is not the same team on the road as in past, main reason like I said before, Timmy Chang plays horrible on the road, that's 4 years of Hawaii playing horrible on the road. With Brennan as QB i don't see that happening. Player to look out for is Ilaoa in this game, he will make some big plays at SB as he is a sure handed reciever and well as hawaii's biggest playmaker.

Look at these plays instead as i feel they have a lot better chances of covering than Idaho does.

Minnesota -3.5, Penn St -7, Michigan State -10, Tulsa +1, Arizona St -4, Western Michigan -3.5, and was leaning on S. Florida +20 (liked it better at +22), also leaning on UTEP -3. And of course leaning on Hawaii +1.5.

Notice that everyone is pounding UH? must be a good reason and I don't think the public is wrong on this one. This is a must win for Hawaii. June Jones and Glanville looked at the first 2 games as preseason games (like the NFL), where they were able to work out the kinks and see where their team was at and who can make the plays. Now their real season begins as Wac play opens up.
