I know the wind is blowing in at 16mph. I can tell you, though I'm not right off the lake, it comes in gusts. I also could not bet an Under with Rusch on the bump followed by this Cubs pen. Throw in the fact that the breeze is far from constant nor do I think it's all that much and can shift at any time. Even with these two offenses, I'm surprised the total is being driven down like this. Both pitchers are coming off a couple starts verse anemic or ailing bats (or disinterested) and may play more true to their yearly era.

I may throw something on the Over myself.

yeah, it is pretty worthless

i like it a little bit as well, but my opinion is apparently even less worthless.

perhaps if i could offer some advice your opinion would be more well thought of if you:

a) typed in all caps

b) talk about being stuck 90k in one week

c) takl about chasing that loss up with 120 k a day

and don't forget

d) threating to kick ass over the internet

Well, since we're all adding worthless opinions here I might as well add mine, which I contend is the most worthless of all (and I'm willing to fight anyone who disagrees).

I am unfortunately a die-hard Cub fan that has watched the team all year, and this is without a doubt the most schizophrenic team I've ever seen. They won 10 of 16 from the Cards this year and currently lead the season series with the Stros, but had losing records to both the Reds and Brewers. They followed up an 8-2 road trip with a 3-4 homestand and then barely averted getting swept by the Brewers in Milwaukee. So, basically, I recommend not going anywhere near this team with hard-earned money. They are every bit as likely to score 10 runs today as they are to get shut out. And Glendon Rusch is every bit as likely to pitch a no hitter (he took one into the 7th inning against the Cards 2 starts ago), as he is to not make it out of the 3rd (which he did 3 starts ago against the Dodgers).
