KMA? or anybody. re: annoying computer problem >

all of a sudden, when i click on any link that opens a new window, instead of opening a full screen window it opens a little window about 4"x4" and i have to maximize it. i didn't change any settings, it just started doing it.

it's happened before but a long time ago and i forgot how to fix it. i like for the new window to be FULL SCREEN.

any ideas?

nevermind, i just fixed it.

try:

opening the new window

maximize it

close the OLD window

now try reopening a window again

The same thing is happening to me. It started about a week ago. I always have to maximize the window.

loudog, i didnt try the other suggestions because i already had it fixed.

all i did was drag the little window open to the size i wanted and it started working from there on out. still working.

I used the reg file to reset everything and it worked fine.

Amazing how google can find these things

Thanks, the file reseting my system worked. I tried everything else, this was the only one that seemed to do the trick.

It mentions that sometimes it becomes corrupt in the registery and to modify the registery key is the only way.

Glad it worked, another problem solved
