Thanksgiving Horrors...Been there, No Football (except in the Back Bedroom), Food to Die from and a Future Brother in Law that never met a Beer he didn't like. I'm lucky this year, GF and I. Football, Cigars, Alcohol and Sex..That is something to be Thankfull for.

Heading to the other coast of Florida (Boca Raton) tomorrow and will have dinner with sisters, mom, dad, nephews, nieces and many other random people that will be there. Will be fun, but will be loud.

we're going to be at a friend's house & probably will be the only people not watching football.....
it's amazing that all of my friends out here do not follow sports......& think that i'm a bookmaker..

One thing I appreciate is the constant entertainment that this site gives me.
Will be travelling, eating, travelling, eating. Then I will be travelling, eating, travelling eating. Then Friday we start the whole process over with my family!

Happy Thanksgiving to all here at Madjack's..... Will spend part of the day at my parents house eating, drinking , and of course watching the games. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful day with family and friends............ :toast:

Today there will be the usual turkey, stuffing (maybe oyster), smashed potatoes, fresh cranberry relish and harvest pie but it will be bittersweet for me. This will likely be the last Thanksgiving I spend with my parents who are both in their mid 70's. They are in the process of selling their home in the town where they grew up and raised a family to live in a condo six hours away to be near my sister, their grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
I am proud of them though, for deciding to make such a drastic change so late in their lives and embark on this new adventure. I am thankful, too, that we have been able to share holidays this long and will miss having them only a short drive away. :sadwave:
